¡Saludos a todos amigos, amigas y atletas de Hive y de la comunidad SWC!, mi nombre es Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina, y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes a través de este contenido audiovisual mi experiencia en el Freestyle Day realizado el 30 de septiembre del 2023, en la ciudad de Caracas, Parque Los Símbolos. Espero que este video inspire a nuevas personas a unirse a este hermoso deporte y a está increíble comunidad que nos une y nos fortalece cada día que pasa.

Greetings to all friends and athletes of Hive and the SWC community, my name is Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina, and today I want to share with you through this audiovisual content my experience in the Freestyle Day held on September 30, 2023, in the city of Caracas, Parque Los Símbolos. I hope this video inspires new people to join this beautiful sport and this incredible community that unites and strengthens us every day that passes.

Mi día en esta experiencia, comenzó desde muy tempranas horas de la mañana, en las que arregle mis cosas y me preparé para hacer el viaje desde la ciudad de la Victoria, hasta la ciudad de Caracas, en esta oportunidad partí solo, tras hora y media de viaje llegué al terminal de las banderas ubicado en la Capital, y allí sí me encontré con dos compañeros provenientes del mismo municipio en el que vivo y que forman parte del equipo representativo de nuestro sector, tomé todas las precauciones para ser puntual y llegar a tiempo y así fue, incluso llegué un poco antes de la hora establecida, siendo así, el primero en llegar al punto de encuentro en el que se desarrollaría el evento. Transcurridos unos pocos minutos comenzaron a llegar algunos compañeros de la comunidad entre ellos, el amigo Isaac Rivas junto a otros compañeros pertenecientes a Street Workout Community. Seguidamente llegó nuestro CEO Manuel Ramos con los materiales necesarios para armar los toldos y preparar el escenario previo al Evento. Varios atletas fuimos bastante colaboradores y tomamos la iniciativa de ayudar con el montaje de las estructuras para ir adelantando parte del trabajo de armado antes de que llegara el equipo completo de moderación y la mayoría de los atletas.

My day in this experience, began very early in the morning, in which I arranged my things and prepared to make the trip from the city of La Victoria, to the city of Caracas, this time I left alone, after an hour and a half of travel I arrived at the terminal of the flags located in the Capital, I took all the precautions to be punctual and arrive on time and so it was, I even arrived a little before the established time, thus being the first to arrive at the meeting point where the event would take place. After a few minutes began to arrive some colleagues of the community among them, the friend Isaac Rivas along with other colleagues belonging to Street Workout Community. Then our CEO Manuel Ramos arrived with the necessary materials to set up the awnings and prepare the stage prior to the event. Several athletes were very helpful and we took the initiative to help with the assembly of the structures to advance part of the assembly work before the complete moderation team and most of the athletes arrived.

Mi rol en esta oportunidad, fue el de conformar parte del equipo de staff para colaborar y contribuir en el desarrollo del Freestyle Day, asistiendo a los animadores, jurados y atletas participantes. Aparte de ello, pude coordinar una entrevista con los medios de comunicación y contribuir con pequeños aportes informativos, para salir en los medios televisivos en un reportaje durante los días posteriores al evento. Al mismo tiempo en que sucedía todo, ya estaba en marcha el evento, en donde los atletas tuvieron un gran desempeño, lamentablemente por mis tareas y responsabilidades no pude apreciar todas las rondas de los participantes, ni documentar todo el material, sin embargo, pude captar pequeños momentos en los que sí tuve la oportunidad de ver y disfrutar de esta nueva experiencia a través de mis compañeros y participantes que estuvieron presentes ese día.

My role in this opportunity was to be part of the staff team to collaborate and contribute in the development of the Freestyle Day, assisting the animators, jurors and participating athletes. Apart from that, I was able to coordinate an interview with the media and contribute with small informative contributions, to appear in the television media in a report during the days after the event. At the same time that everything was happening, the event was already underway, where the athletes had a great performance, unfortunately because of my duties and responsibilities I could not appreciate all the rounds of the participants, nor document all the material, however, I was able to capture small moments in which I had the opportunity to see and enjoy this new experience through my colleagues and participants who were present that day.

Hubo muchas caras nuevas, futuras promesas, y un alto nivel de competitividad, por supuesto con una atmósfera sana acompañada de compañerismo y fraternidad. Considero que el Freestyle Day fue uno de los eventos más exitosos a nivel histórico de la comunidad SWC, puesto a que logramos alcanzar grandes metas y pudimos dar un nuevo paso hacia el camino del éxito. Quiero felicitar a todos los atletas que participaron y a los ganadores, merecedores de su respectivo título. Al culminar la actividad comenzó a llover, sin embargo varios miembros del equipo del staff y de coordinación agilizaron de la manera más rápida posible de resguardar el sonido y el resto de las herramientas de trabajo y de logística, de esta manera esperamos un poco a que cediera la lluvia y respectivamente nos subimos al transporte de la comunidad, el cual nos dejó a mis compañeros y a mí en El peaje de la Victoria, siguiendo su rumbo hacia la Ciudad de Maracay a dejar al resto de los atletas lo más cercano posible a sus hogares, concretando de manera exitosa la vuelta a casa. También quiero darles las gracias a todas aquellas personas que hicieron este evento posible, a los organizadores, al equipo de coordinación, a nuestros padrinos de la comunidad y a nuestro CEO @manuelramos. Espero con muchas ansias que podamos continuar con este tipo de actividades y eventos nacionales, para promover el Street Workout y la Calistenia en Venezuela.

There were many new faces, future promises, and a high level of competitiveness, of course with a healthy atmosphere accompanied by fellowship and fraternity. I consider that the Freestyle Day was one of the most successful events in the history of the SWC community, since we achieved great goals and were able to take a new step towards the road to success. I would like to congratulate all the athletes who participated and the winners, deserving of their respective titles. At the end of the activity it began to rain, however several members of the staff and coordination team expedited as quickly as possible to protect the sound and the rest of the work and logistics tools, in this way we waited a bit for the rain to subside and respectively we got on the community transport, which left my colleagues and me at the toll of La Victoria, following its course towards the city of Maracay to leave the rest of the athletes as close as possible to their homes, successfully completing the return home. I also want to thank all those who made this event possible, the organizers, the coordination team, our community sponsors and our CEO @manuelramos. I look forward to continue with this kind of activities and national events, to promote Street Workout and Calisthenics in Venezuela.
