Hive Open Mic 102 : Hargai Aku - Armada cover by @donirosayandi

Hi Hivers, how are you all? I'm sure we'll all be fine this mid-March. Must be fun, right?
By the way, my name is @donirosayandi, I'm a beginner guitarist.
On this auspicious occasion I will challenge myself again to sing, by singing the 102nd week Hive Open Mic #openmic contest song with the following theme: "Tocando Almas." In English, this means: "Touching Souls." This theme was chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @digitalopus, who is an extraordinary mandolinist, and a friend to us all.

For this week's theme I have prepared a good song, a song that is related to this theme is a song from the one that is popularized by "Armada".

The band, led by Andith (DRUM), Rizal (VOCAL), Endra' (BASS), Mai (GUITAR) and Radha (GUITAR) is indeed strengthening their role in the Indonesian music world. Armada's second hit single “hargai me” was released on Thursday (9/2/2012) to coincide with 12 noon, month 2, 2012 on radio throughout Indonesia and produced by Sony Music Entertainment.
This is the first time that the single Armada has separated from the theme of love. This song talks about appreciating someone's work, not respecting the heart. It's more about tolerance and about the environment," said the vocalist Rizal .

The band that used to be called "Kertas" and skyrocketed through the song "Kekasih Yang Tak Di Though" does have the power of lyrics and melancholic music, coupled with the vocal character of Rizal, which is very fitting to bring these mellow themed songs.

The single “Appreciate Me” tells about how much a person means, but sometimes due to lack of understanding and communication, there is only sadness, feeling unappreciated. This song will no doubt be the choice of Armada Troops (a nickname for fans) who are feeling down. And if absorbed deeper, this song is able to bring us to imagine a relationship that is not as easy as imagined.

However, there is an important message from this song, which is to always introspect yourself and always respect other people's souls.

Accepting and appreciating the strengths and weaknesses of others is very important.
Because our souls always want to live socially, there are many inequalities in society. However, the point is that we must always introspect ourselves and always respect others.

I think this song is very touching to the soul, because it teaches us that we must see our shortcomings first, before we appreciate the souls of others.
