Good Sunday everyone! We are in a new post for the most beautiful Community of all! We have a Political Election day in Argentina, while here we continue editing videos hehe.
On this occasion we are going to do 4 exercises to strengthen our Upper Body and improve Neuromuscular coordination while we work on our Breathing and Concentration 🙂
The exercises that we are going to do today are to work our Shoulders, Pectorals, Triceps and Biceps, among others. But there is also something additional, which is the activation of our CORE or MIDDLE AREA to also work on the POSTURE of our spine. In Pilates we always look for COMPREHENSIVE work where the body is a WHOLE, and there is a connection between each segment and being able to achieve complex movements.🤗
On the other hand, the Weight used depends on each person. In Pilates we have several springs of different intensities, in my case I use a RED one that is HEAVY, but to start the best is BLUE to be able to perform the movements freely without having to put extra effort on our SHOULDER joint.😙
To finish our Arms session we are going to do some stretches. Muscles tend to break with training, but it is not a bad thing, on the contrary, we must know that stretching after training is NOT always ideal, because we can produce a greater number of microtears in the fibers. But I do recommend relaxing them, with gentle stretches and for short periods of time, 10-15" without pushing the joints to the maximum.
In this case we stretch our Forearms and Deltoids (Posterior and Middle), but we can also stretch the Pectorals and Triceps, which are muscles that have also been worked (And I will leave them for another Post🙂).
