¡Hola Hivers! Hace tiempo que quería hacer un cover de esta canción y aquí está.

Los Miserables es uno de mis musicales favoritos y afortunadamente pude verlo en vivo en el Teatro Teresa Carreño (Caracas, Venezuela) cuando se presentó en Noviembre del año pasado. Mi canción favorita de todo el Musical es esta: "I Dreamed I Dream" que es cantada por el personaje de Fantine...Una mujer que tiene una hija en secreto (por todo lo que significaba ser madre soltera en esa época) y le toca recurrir a la prostitución como forma de ganar dinero para mantener a su hija.

Es una canción increíblemente dura y cargada de un sentimiento de ira, frustración y lamento...El sentimiento de que tu vida es lo peor que tienes y que la única manera de acabar con todo ese sufrimiento es morir.

Espero que disfruten mi interpretación.

Hi Hivers! I've been wanting to cover this song for a long time and here it is.

Les Miserables is one of my favorite musicals and fortunately I was able to see it live at the Teatro Teresa Carreño (Caracas, Venezuela) when it was presented last November. My favorite song of the whole Musical is this one: "I Dreamed I Dream" which is sung by the character of Fantine...A woman who has a daughter in secret (for all that it meant to be a single mother at that time) and has to resort to prostitution as a way to earn money to support her daughter.

It is an incredibly hard song and loaded with a feeling of anger, frustration and regret...The feeling that your life is the worst thing you have and that the only way to end all that suffering is to die.

I hope you enjoy my interpretation.
