¡Fui Jueza de los FitGames! - I was a FitGames judge!

      ¡Hola a Todos! Hoy les comparto más de mi Experiencia como Jueza en los FitGames Edición Equipos que se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Maturín, edo Monagas- Venezuela. Siempre he estado pendiente y me emocionan estos eventos, y aunque no me dedico a esta disciplina deportiva tan competitiva como lo es el CrossFit, he entrenado ocasionalmente y me encanta, deseo algún día especializarme en ella. A través de meses de entrenamiento y cumpliendo los requisitos y curso que exige la organización, logré ser postulada y elegida como Jueza.

! [english version] Hello everybody! Today I share with you more of my experience as a judge in the FitGames Team Edition that took place in the city of Maturin, edo Monagas- Venezuela. I have always been aware and excited about these events, and although I am not dedicated to this sport discipline as competitive as CrossFit, I have trained occasionally and I love it, I want to specialize in it someday. Through months of training and fulfilling the requirements and course demanded by the organization, I managed to be nominated and elected as a judge.

      Me enteré que había una Convocatoria para reunir todo el Staff de competencia y los Jueces. Para ser Juez se debe realizar un curso Online y aprobarlo. El curso te enseña muchísimo, y una vez que cumplí con todos los requisitos exigidos por la organización, logré ser postulada y elegida como Jueza, junto a un gran equipo de otros jueces de otros estado, algunos con más experiencia y de quienes aprendí muchísimo.

! [english version] I found out that there was a Call for Competition Staff and Judges. To become a judge you have to take an online course and pass it. The course teaches you a lot, and once I met all the requirements demanded by the organisation, I managed to be nominated and elected as a judge, along with a great team of other judges from other states, some with more experience and from whom I learned a lot.

      Fueron 3 días de competencia, los WOD fueron exigentes y variados. Aquí te dejo como fueron los WOD, como hay varias categorías. Y pueden apreciar que los nombres de los WOD están inspirados en palabras criollas de Venezuela.

! [english version] There were 3 days of competition, the WODs were demanding and varied. Here are the WODs, as there are several categories. And you can appreciate that the names of the WODs are inspired by Venezuelan Creole words.

      Todos los WOD estuvieron super exigentes, mi cargo como Juez es contar las repeticiones de los atletas, si cumplen los estándares del movimiento y del WOD, tener la credibilidad del desempeño del atleta durante la competencia, cuando el atleta no cumple los estándares del movimiento, se dice "NO REP". Un Juez debe estar muy atento al o a los atletas que le toca atender y supervisar durante la competencia, el Juez lleva un registro en una planilla para anotar todo lo que el o los atletas realizan.

[english version] All the WODs were super demanding, my job as a judge is to count the repetitions of the athletes, if they meet the standards of the movement and the WOD, to have the credibility of the athlete's performance during the competition, when the athlete does not meet the standards of the movement, it is said "NO REP". A Judge must be very attentive to the athlete(s) he/she is assigned to supervise and supervise during the competition, the Judge keeps a record on a sheet to write down everything the athlete(s) performs.
