Desde hace muchos años mantenía la esperanza de poder tocar este tema!
Siempre quise tocar un tema de Sonata Arctica puesto que es una banda que me gusta demasiado.

Sonata Arctica es una banda finlandesa formada en 1996 que combina elementos del power metal melódico fusionando el metal neoclásico con el metal sinfónico; mucho metal (risas).

Empecé a escuchar su música desde el 2002 aproximadamente, ha pasado mucho tiempo y nunca me atreví a intentar tocar alguna de sus canciones.

For many years I had hoped to be able to touch this song!
I always wanted to play a song by Sonata Arctica since it's a band that I really like.

Sonata Arctica is a Finnish band formed in 1996 that combines elements of melodic power metal by fusing neoclassical metal with symphonic metal; a lot of metal (laughs).

I started listening to his music from around 2002, it's been a long time and I never dared to try to play any of his songs.

"My land" es el segundo tema de su álbum debut denominado Ecliptica lanzado en la primavera de 1996, está canción particularmente es una de mis favoritas de la banda con un solo muy dinámico como suelen ser en la mayoría de los temas de esta agrupación.

El solo fue compuesto porJani Liimatainen, guitarrista de la banda, con una técnica envidiable por cierto.

Me esforcé bastante honestamente para intentar tocar este solo, si bien es cierto, es un estilo con el que estoy familiarizado, no logré sentirme cómodo con las frases que componen el solo porque algunas son rápidas con escalas de dos octavas y me costaba mantener la precisión.

"My land" is the second song from their debut album called Ecliptica released in the spring of 1996, this song in particular is one of my favorites of the band with a very dynamic solo as they usually are in most of the songs of this group.

The solo was composed by Jani Liimatainen, the band's guitarist, with an enviable technique indeed.

I honestly put a lot of effort into trying to play this solo, while it's true it's a style I'm familiar with, I couldn't get comfortable with the phrases that make up the solo because some are fast with two octave scales and I had a hard time maintaining precision.

Es una canción que me trae muchos recuerdos, compartí muchos buenos momentos escuchándola. Estoy muy contento la verdad porque cumplí este pequeño sueño que tenía de adolescente; tocar un tema de Sonata Arctica; al menos en parte!

Al mismo tiempo aprovecharé la ocasión para dedicarsela a mi buen amigo Javier Mairena de Nicaragua, quien me hizo escuchar esta gran banda por primera vez.

Con esta publicación estaré celebrando el haber superado los HP 500 en la plataforma HIVE, no es mucho pero estoy satisfecho con el recorrido hasta este punto.

It is a song that brings back many memories, I shared many good moments listening to it. I am really happy because I fulfilled this little dream that I had as a teenager; play a theme from Sonata Arctica; at least in part!

At the same time I will take the opportunity to dedicate it to my good friend Javier Mairena from Nicaragua, who made me listen to this great band for the first time.

With this post I will be celebrating having surpassed HP 500 on the HIVE platform, it is not much but I am satisfied with the journey up to this point.
