Children Singers at Professional Level in Venezuela

Hello, hello, happy to make a publication for the Sound of Music at Hive! A few days ago I had a very nice experience and I wanted to share it with you, since once again the talent of the Venezuelan youth was present in the middle of our rehearsal of Handel's Messiah to meet a wonderful children's group.

¡Hola, hola, feliz de hacer una publicación para el Sonido de la Música en Hive!. Hace unos días tuve una experiencia muy bonita y la quería compartir con ustedes, ya que nuevamente el talento de la juventud venezolana se hizo presente a mitad de nuestro ensayo de Messiah de Handel para conocer a una maravillosa agrupación infantil.

These little ones are the Niños Cantores de Nirgua, a group from El Sistema that lives in the state of Yaracuy. A couple of weeks ago they had the privilege of having several presentations in the city of Caracas, and I will not deny it, I was very surprised to discover again that not only in the capital of Venezuela excellent music is made, these children are very special and great artists at their young age. I have faith that no matter the corner of Venezuela, there is always a lot of talent to give.

Estos pequeños son los Niños Cantores de Nirgua, una agrupación de El Sistema que hace vida en el Estado Yaracuy. Hace un par de semanas tuvieron el privilegio de tener varias presentaciones en la ciudad de Caracas, y no se los voy a negar, quedé muy sorprendido de descubrir nuevamente que no solo en la capital de Venezuela se hace música excelente, estos niños son muy especiales y grandes artistas a su corta edad. Tengo fe de que no importa el rincón de Venezuela, siempre hay mucho talento para dar.

I recorded many videos that day, but I decided for the song of the video, which is called Montilla, because my dad taught it to me since I was very young, and I think he was the only one in my choir who knew it, besides the musical arrangement is by a personal friend of my family, Jesus Cordero. It moved me a lot of feelings to remember my first children's choirs where of course I was directed by my own dad and I learned many things that I use today in my day to day life.

Grabé muchos videos ese día, pero me decidí por la canción del video, que se llama Montilla, ya que mi papá me la enseñó desde muy pequeño, y creo que era el único de mi coral que se la sabía, además de que el arreglo musical es de un amigo personal de mi familia, Jesús Cordero. Me movió muchos sentimientos recordar mis primeras corales infantiles donde por supuesto fui dirigido por mi propio papá y aprendí muchas cosas que hoy uso en mi día a día.

These children are accompanied by great eminences of music that make life in the State of Yaracuy, but the most important thing is that they follow to the letter the teachings of the young director Khaterine Tejera, another daughter of the System of Orchestras and Choirs and that passionately and proudly has managed to consolidate this small group so much that they can already travel to other states of the country to perform, simply wonderful and admirable.

Estos niños están acompañados de grandes eminencias de la música que hacen vida en el Estado Yaracuy, pero lo más importante es que siguen al pie de la letra las enseñanzas de la joven directora Khaterine Tejera, otra hija del Sistema de Orquestas y Coros y que apasionada y orgullosamente ha logrado consolidar tanto a esta pequeña agrupación que ya pueden viajar a otros estados del país a presentarse, sencillamente maravilloso y admirable.

We are the professional group and example par excellence in our institution and I dare say in the country. This little presentation of the children was made while they were waiting for the bus to return to their town, and we also showed them a little of our work, but here among us, how much we can teach them in a short moment, it is more what they taught us with their innocence and great talent at such a young age, besides filling us with pride for our country and our people. The future of choral music in Venezuela is beautiful, I think there will be no room for so many singers in a few years 😍

Nosotros somos la agrupación profesional y ejemplo por excelencia en nuestra institución y me atrevo a decir que del país. Esta pequeña presentación de los niños la hicieron mientras esperaban el autobús para regresar a su pueblo, y nosotros también les mostramos un poco de nuestro trabajo, pero aquí entre nos, qué tanto le podemos enseñar a ellos en un corto instante, es más lo que ellos nos enseñaron a nosotros con su inocencia y gran talento a tan corta edad, además de llenarnos de orgullo por nuestro país y por nuestra gente. El futuro de la música coral en Venezuela es hermoso, creo que no habrá cabida para tantos cantantes dentro de unos años 😍
