Hola amigos de Hive, hoy les traigo un juego retro lanzado en el año 2001, llamado Project Eden, es un juego que tuvo muy buena acogida en su momento, fue reseñado de buena manera por distintas revistas de videojuegos, y pues como de costumbre quiero compartirles un Demo del juego que venía en una de mis revistas de esos años y brevemente algo de la información que contienen las revistas.

Hello friends of Hive, today I bring you a retro game released in 2001, called Project Eden, is a game that was very well received at the time, was reviewed in a good way by various gaming magazines, and as usual I want to share with you a Demo of the game that came in one of my magazines of those years and briefly some of the information contained in the magazines.

Project Eden es un juego con un concepto bastante original, o eso creo yo, se trata de un mundo futurista en el que la población ha empezado a crecer pero hacia arriba, se ha construido rascacielos, en cuyas alturas viven los millonarios, y en las partes más inferiores, en los cimientos viven los pobres y todos los seres degenerados, condenados a un mundo de oscuridad y luz artificial, privados de la luz solar que gozan los más adinerados y poderosos.

Project Eden is a game with a quite original concept, or so I think, it is a futuristic world in which the population has begun to grow but upwards, skyscrapers have been built, in whose heights live the millionaires, and in the lower parts, in the foundations live the poor and all the degenerate beings, condemned to a world of darkness and artificial light, deprived of the sunlight enjoyed by the wealthy and powerful.

Tomamos el control de una brigada que debe bajar a los cimientos para atender ciertas problemáticas que afectan el ecosistema y el mundo de los más adinerados, abajo tendremos que enfrentarnos con todo tipo de seres y valernos del trabajo en equipo para cumplir los objetivos. Cada personaje tiene habilidades únicas, por ejemplo, uno puede reparar equipos, otro puede hackear los sistemas, otro puede ingresar en áreas altamente peligrosos en cuanto a temperatura, gases y demás.

We take control of a brigade that must go down to the foundations to address certain problems that affect the ecosystem and the world of the wealthy, down we will have to face all kinds of beings and use teamwork to meet the objectives. Each character has unique abilities, for example, one can repair equipment, another can hack systems, another can enter highly dangerous areas in terms of temperature, gases and so on.

Tendremos que coordinar las acciones entre cada personaje, por lo que estaremos alternando entre ellos, los enemigos pueden ser bastante rápidos y retadores, pero nada que la buena puntería no pueda superar, además nuestros compañeros aunque no estén siendo controlados por nosotros responderán a los ataques, aunque no son tan contundentes y son fácilmente vencidos.

We will have to coordinate the actions between each character, so we will be alternating between them, the enemies can be quite fast and challenging, but nothing that good aim can not overcome, also our companions although they are not being controlled by us will respond to attacks, although they are not as forceful and are easily defeated.

Los controles son cómodos aunque a veces olvidamos con cual click alternamos de jugador, o con cual disparamos o con cual movemos las palancas, tal vez hay muchas funciones en un solo mando y por ellos puede resultar confuso, pero nada que un par de horas de juego no puedan superar.

The controls are comfortable although sometimes we forget with which click we switch players, or with which we shoot or with which we move the levers, perhaps there are many functions in a single controller and for them it can be confusing, but nothing that a couple of hours of play can not overcome.

Creo que los gráficos están bastante bien, son los más avanzados para aquella época, y creo que han envejecidos bien. El sonido no es tan destacable, pero puedo asegurar que nos sumergen en un mundo de piezas mecánicas en el futuro.

I think the graphics are pretty good, they are the most advanced for that time, and I think they have aged well. The sound is not so outstanding, but I can assure you that we are immersed in a world of mechanical parts in the future.

Espero puedan ver el video, yo disfruté bastante de este breve Demo, creo que sería un juego muy interesante de experimentar.
