Death mountain to be traversed before the Tower of Hera!

Did not realise the window for the game wasn't in place properly in this recording for the footage as it didn't keep it in place.

This is game #12 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.

In part 5 of the game Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past I head up Death Mountain to make my way through the tough trials of traversing it, because I am needing to head to the Tower of Hera.
The darkness in the cave requires some careful stepping to avoid the holes in the ground or the bats that hang there, waiting to attack but they are easy to defeat of course, so the Death Mountain cave is the easiest part.

What becomes tough is the outside, the falling boulders that aren't so predictable and will slap you with damage after they hit you. So avoiding this is what you want to be careful of as you can still get hit!
But at least at the top we can get into the dark world through the portal which with the help of the Magic Mirror we got from the old man we helped through the cave, we can teleport back to the light world and when in a certain spot, can mean we end up getting to the next location which can mean more pieces of a heart to increase health or... Getting to the Tower of Hera in search of the final pendant.

Inside the Tower of Hera will be many enemies and trials to beat. Fireballs and flying tiles are some of the concerns for what you have to look forward to.
You can fall down the holes which could be triggered by the bumpers or enemies that will bounce you when they are hit.

Finally we reach the stupidly unpredictable for the most part, scuttling boss that will bounce you off the ledge if it touches you. It made it super annoying to beat it and I also fell down at times too.
Lastly when we defeat the boss and gain the final pendant, we eventually get the moon pearl so we can stay in Links normal form inside the Dark World!

Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
