Bienvenidos amigos del deporte a esta nueva entrega de Noticiero FullDeportivo, donde compartiré con ustedes la emoción de haber logrado el subcampeonato de ajedrez en la categoría libre, después de unos cuantos meses sin jugar un torneo, y la alegría de que mi pupilo Gereald Cuno lograra también el subcampeonato en la categoría sub-6, una celebración por partida doble, que sigan los éxitos para academia ARTISTA, academia fundada en conjunto a mi esposa Norma Canaza, con uno de los tantos propósitos de la misma que es el de contribuir con nuestro granito de arena a la masificación de este hermoso deporte como lo es el Ajedrez.

Welcome friends of the sport to this new installment of Noticiero FullDeportivo, where I will share with you the excitement of having achieved the sub-championship of chess in the free category, after a few months without playing a tournament, and the joy that my pupil Gereald Cuno also achieved the sub-championship in the U-6 category, a double celebration, may the successes continue for ARTISTA academy, academy founded together with my wife Norma Canaza, with one of the many purposes of the same which is to contribute with our grain of sand to the massification of this beautiful sport as it is Chess.

Vale destacar que esta era el primer torneo de Gerald Cuno, un niño de 05 años de edad, y es realmente gratificante que de las 05 partidas disputadas ganó cuatro de ellas, lo que le permitió ocupar un importante segundo lugar, a parte de que interactuó con muchos niños y conoció a una de las leyendas del ajedrez peruano, nada más y nada menos que al MF Miguel Ángel Nina.

It is worth noting that this was the first tournament of Gerald Cuno, a boy of 05 years of age, and it is really gratifying that of the 05 games played he won four of them, which allowed him to occupy an important second place, besides interacting with many children and meeting one of the legends of Peruvian chess, nothing more and nothing less than the FM Miguel Angel Nina.

Por otro lado, como conté con la compañía de mi esposa Norma Canaza, me animé a competir en la categoría libre. Tenía muchas meses sin jugar un torneo, pero eso no fue una limitante para enfrentar a cada uno de los oponentes con torda la actitud, al punto que de las cinco partidas que disputé solo perdí una, precisamente contra el campeón del torneo Rodrigo Viveros.

On the other hand, as I had the company of my wife Norma Canaza, I was encouraged to compete in the free category. I had many months without playing a tournament, but that was not a limitation to face each of the opponents with a tough attitude, to the point that of the five games I played I only lost one, precisely against the tournament champion Rodrigo Viveros.

Con estos cuatro puntos logrados logré quedar subcampeón de la categoría libre, y es para mí una gran emoción ocupar este importante puesto, y al mismo tiempo me inspira a seguir entrenando para fines competitivos y combinar las labores de enseñanza y difusión del ajedrez, con aspiraciones deportivas en torno a este fascinante juego, así que a seguirlo cultivando y a seguir creciendo.

Y conocimos al Rey Enigma Arequipeño

El MF Miguel Ángel Nina realmente es un artista en la organización de eventos de ajedrez, y este torneo no podía ser la excepción, ya que en el mismo se encontraba el Rey Enigma Arequipeño, quien jugó muchas partidas con los participantes del evento, así como con el público presente, regalándonos un derroche de técnica ajedrecística.

With these four points I managed to be runner-up in the free category, and it is a great thrill for me to occupy this important position, and at the same time it inspires me to continue training for competitive purposes and combine the work of teaching and dissemination of chess, with sporting aspirations around this fascinating game, so to continue cultivating it and continue growing.

And we met Arequipa's King Enigma

The FM Miguel Angel Nina is really an artist in the organization of chess events, and this tournament could not be the exception, since in the same one was the King Enigma Arequipeño, who played many games with the participants of the event, as well as with the present public, giving us a waste of chess technique.

Intentamos entrevistar al Rey Enigma, pero por razones de no querer develar su identidad, nos tuvimos que conformar con estrecharle la mano, y manifestarle nuestras palabras de respeto y admiración. Y todo esto mi gente linda ocurrió en el Centro Comercial Lambramani de la hermosa ciudad blanca de Arequipa, donde el mayor logro fue haber compartido en familia, al lado de mi madre Yolanda Santana, mi esposa Norma Canaza y mi pupilo Gerald Cuno:
