Egypt is a land of mystery and enigma that I love, and one of the things that represent this land are the giants.

In this design I wanted to give some life to them, they appear among ancient papers but they end up having a human face, as it must have been in ancient times.

All the writings are of my authorship inspired by the design.

Design process

The design is made with 4 images and 17 layers.

First create a background with two images of old paper textures, interspersing the images with fusions.

Later, I placed the image of the giants, erasing mostly the background, and in several layers with blending, I intercalated them with the background, enlarging them so that the rocks of the giants could be seen.

That same image but in normal size, and also in several layers merged, I make them more and more noticeable in the design.

The face and part of the torso of the man, I made them coincide with the giants, giving the sensation that they have faces or this is how the face was in the past, giving it life.

The animation was developed entirely in After Effects, using light effects and varying the opacity of the images, making the layers appear smoothly and alternating them.

Egipto es una tierra de misterio y enigmática que me encanta, y una de las cosas que representan a esta tierra son los colosos.

En este diseño quise darle algo de vida a los mismos, aparecen entre papeles antiguos, pero culminan teniendo rostro humano, como debe haber sido en la antigüedad.

Todos los escritos son de mi autoría inspirados en el diseño.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con 4 imágenes y 17 capas.

Primero cree un fondo con dos imágenes de texturas de papeles viejos, intercalando las imágenes con fusiones.

Posteriormente, coloqué la imagen de los colosos, borrando mayormente el fondo, y en varias capas con fusión, las intercale con el fondo, agranda mismas para que se note las rocas de los colosos.

Esa misma imagen, pero en tamaño normal, y también en varias capas fusionadas, hago que cada vez se noten más en el diseño.

El rostro y parte del torso del hombre, los hice coincidir con los colosos, dando la sensación de que ellos tienen rostros o así era el rostro en el pasado, darle vida.

La animación la desarrollé totalmente en After Effects, usando efectos de luces y variando las imágenes en su opacidad, haciendo que aparezcan suavemente las capas y se vayan alternando.
