Lessons from the Day 1 of the Glorious Thanksgiving of God's People held on 1st October 2021 via zoom

Today I joined the Day 1 of Glorious Thanksgiving of God's People via zoom and I learnt a lot from the teaching.

Colossians 3:12-15 KJV
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; [13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. [14] And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. [15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

We should adorn ourselves like the chosen by God.

We have to put on a heart of compassion, meekness. We should learn how to forgive each other. We should let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.

If we are called by God, we have the right to proclaim His name.

If you are called, you should be in the church. Someone called into the church of God has a great Honour.

It is a privilege that we were called by God.

John 10:27-29 KJV
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Those called by God are under His protection.
