¡Saludos amigos y amigas de Hive! Tengan todos, un feliz fin de semana. Primero lo primero, darle las gracias a Dios por todo este sueño tan grande que ha revelado en mi realidad, lo que estoy viviendo es uno de los mayores logros de mi vida y espero poder gozar de mucha vida y salud para llegar hasta el final de este recorrido. Recientemente en la comunidad Tiquire Flores, Municipio José Rafael Revenga, Estado Aragua – Venezuela, estuvimos trabajando en el acondicionamiento del espacio para poner en marcha la Fase 1 del Proyecto Bears Fighters. En este capítulo les mostraré a través de contenido audiovisual e imágenes el proceso de trabajo que realizamos en el primer día de construcción de nuestras estructuras. Mi nombre es Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina y este contenido es para todos.

Greetings Hive friends! Have a happy weekend, everyone. First things first, thank God for all this great dream that has revealed in my reality, what I am living is one of the greatest achievements of my life and I hope to enjoy a lot of life and health to reach the end of this journey. Recently in the community of Tiquire Flores, Municipality José Rafael Revenga, Aragua State - Venezuela, we were working on the conditioning of the space to launch Phase 1 of the Bears Fighters Project. In this chapter I will show you through audiovisual content and images the work process we did on the first day of construction of our structures. My name is Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina and this content is for everyone.

Iniciamos el día ordenando los materiales y herramientas para agilizar la obra. Lo primero que hicimos fue cortar todos los tubos a utilizar, una vez cortados, comenzamos a soldar horizontalmente trozos de cabillas en las bases de los tubos, las cuales conformarían las raíces o patas para las barras fijas una vez que fueran sembradas las bases. La obra estuvo encabezada por uno de nuestros compañeros fundadores del equipo Miguel Gandara, albañil, cortador, soldador, y electricista profesional en lo que hace. Fue el encargado de cortar los tubos con un esmeril, siguiendo las orientaciones y las medidas que le fui otorgando, tomando sus respectivas medidas de seguridad y de prevención. Esta primera parte del trabajo se realizó en mi casa, lugar cercano y a pocos metros del parque, en donde contamos con electricidad, sombra e hidratación. Varios de los chicos y yo fuimos ayudando y asistiendo a miguel en todo lo que necesitaba, desde la facilitación de herramientas, hasta la movilización de los tubos.

We started the day ordering the materials and tools to speed up the work. The first thing we did was to cut all the pipes to be used. Once they were cut, we began to horizontally weld pieces of steel rods to the bases of the pipes, which would form the roots or legs for the fixed bars once the bases were planted. The work was headed by one of our fellow team founders Miguel Gandara, a mason, cutter, welder, and professional electrician at what he does. He was in charge of cutting the pipes with a grinder, following the guidelines and measures that I gave him, taking the respective safety and prevention measures. This first part of the work was done at my house, a place near and a few meters from the park, where we had electricity, shade and hydration. Several of the boys and I were helping and assisting Miguel in everything he needed, from the provision of tools, to the mobilization of the tubes.

Mientras una parte del equipo se encontraba en mi casa, otra porción del equipo se encontraba en el parque realizando la labor de cavar y abrir los huecos en donde serían sembradas las bases de las estructuras que conformarían las barras fijas, con la finalidad de que, al momento de terminar con los tubos, fueran trasladados inmediatamente al parque para su fijación, y así fue. Una vez que terminamos la tarea en mi casa, nos dirigimos todos al parque con palas, picos y todas las herramientas necesarias, junto con los tubos y materiales de construcción para elaborar la mezcla de concreto que vaciaríamos en los huecos junto con las bases.

While part of the team was at my house, another part of the team was at the park, digging and opening the holes where the bases of the structures that would form the fixed bars would be planted, so that when the tubes were finished, they would be immediately taken to the park to be fixed, and so it was. Once we finished the task at my house, we all went to the park with shovels, picks and all the necessary tools, along with the pipes and construction materials to make the concrete mix that we would pour into the holes along with the bases.

Tras echar en una parte del suelo la arena lavada, la gravilla y el cemento, comenzamos a mezclar en seco primero, y al ligarse bien los materiales, vertimos el agua para batir la pega entre varios de mis compañeros y yo. Al terminar la mezcla, fuimos levantando las bases sobre los huecos y vaciando varias capas de piedras y concreto. Con el uso de un nivel fuimos ajustando cada base de manera que quedara totalmente vertical y recta, sin ningún grado de inclinación. Así fue como logramos sembrar todas las bases de las barras fijas y siendo de noche, le colocamos una cinta de seguridad al espacio. Al final de este día de trabajo, nos tomamos estas fotografías para el recuerdo.

After pouring the washed sand, gravel and cement on a part of the ground, we began to mix it dry first, and when the materials were well bound, we poured the water to beat the glue between several of my companions and me. When the mixture was finished, we raised the bases over the holes and poured several layers of stones and concrete. With the use of a level we adjusted each base so that it was completely vertical and straight, without any degree of inclination. This is how we were able to plant all the bases of the fixed bars and, being at night, we placed a security tape around the space. At the end of this day's work, we took these pictures to remember.
