General warm-up before each routine (DO NOT OVERLOOK) [ESP|ENG]
Hello my people, greetings to all the #hivers and colleagues of #swc, I hope you are all well. Today I share something different with you my people, and so I start or resume the tutorials for you, there are already many posts about warm-ups prior to specific training, and I was not going to be left behind hehe. It is important to remember that to prevent injuries and/or discomfort, it is important to always warm up, and be careful, it is not stretching, it is a warm-up. That's often confused, okay, and what's the difference? You might ask, and the difference is that the warm-up is to activate the system and the stretching is to notify the system that we are beginning a descending phase in the training line and in this way calm down.
In addition to this, studies confirm that for the muscle or a muscle to grow healthy and strong, it must be stretched, and this means that we must do a stretching session at the end of each routine. I have been applying it and it has benefited me, but that is another story. Here we are going to talk about warming up, its importance, benefits and how to apply it. Without further ado, I leave you with the content.
Warming up is a physical activity of mild intensity and short duration that is performed before beginning to perform higher intensity exercises. The goal of warming up is to prepare the body for physical exertion by increasing body temperature, heart rate, blood flow, and flexibility of muscles and joints.
The benefits of warming up are numerous, among which are:
Reduces the risk of injury. Warming up helps prepare muscles and joints for physical exertion, reducing the risk of injuries such as pulls, sprains and tears.
Improves physical performance. Warming up helps increase body temperature, which improves your muscles' ability to make stronger, more efficient contractions.
Prepare the body mentally for exercise. Warming up helps prepare the mind for physical exertion, which can improve performance and motivation.
Warming up is an essential part of any workout, regardless of fitness level or type of exercise being performed. Even if it's a low-intensity exercise, like a walk or a yoga session, it's important to warm up before you start.
The warm-up should last between 5 and 10 minutes, and should include exercises that increase heart rate, body temperature, and flexibility. The exercises that can be included in the warm-up are the following:
Cardiovascular exercises: walking, jogging, jumping rope, etc.
Mobility exercises: arm and leg circles, trunk rotations, etc.
Stretching exercises: dynamic stretches, such as swings, rotations and circles.
It is important to perform the warm-up exercises gradually, without straining the muscles. If you feel pain, it is important to stop and rest.
Some tips for an effective warm-up are the following:
Start with low intensity exercises and gradually increase the intensity.
Emphasize the exercises to be performed during the workout.
Listen to your body and stop if you feel pain.
Warming up is an essential part of any workout, and it is important to dedicate the time necessary to prepare the body for physical effort.
