    ESPAÑOL;

    Buenas un gran saludo a toda la comunidad amante de las mascotas.

    En esta ocasión me complace presentarles a CHAMA , una perra de raza dudosa pero una gran amiga y compañera del hogar.

    • Ésta perra tiene aproximadamente 5/6 años pues llegó a casa hace unos tres años muy delgada y de bajo peso.
    • Era una perra callejera que adoptamos y cuidamos le agarramos un enorme sentimiento de cariño.
    • Es muy divertida y siempre nos acompaña cuando salimos a caminar aunque en ocasiones es un poco incómodo pues otros perros callejeros aveces la molestan pero entre @juva y yo siempre la hemos cuidado allí afuera.

    Según Google lens este perro es raza potcake y es un tipo de raza mixta ( la verdad siempre a esta mezcla de perro les digo firulays ) y dice que se encuentra en varias islas del Caribe.
    • Ese nombre de potcake proviene de un plato tradicional local, que es arroz aliñado y gandules. [ El arroz recocido que se pega al fondo de la olla se mezcla comúnmente con otras sobras y se le da de comer a los perros ] •

    De allí el nombre, si investigamos un poquito más podemos saber que el nombre firulays tampoco existe y que es una mala pronunciación de la palabra 'FREE OF LICE' esto es realmente gracioso pues está palabra lleva muchísimos años en nuestro lenguaje.

    Actualmente CHAMA está sufriendo algún tipo de enfermedad o infección producida por picadura de mosquitos aparte que no para de rascarse y romperse las orejas , en estas fechas acá en Venezuela ha estado lloviendo continuamente supongo que por eso el aumento de estás plagas.

    • Por más que lo intentamos siempre se sale, cuando regresa aveces tiene estas heridas rotas nuevamente y no estoy seguro si se pelea con otros perros o ha estado en contacto con basura y por ello mantiene la infección.
    • Ha Sido curada en múltiples ocasiones con producto llamado Lepecid el cual le ha cerrado la herida aunque no por completo.

    Espero que sane pronto y así compartir con ustedes un poco más sobre este caso.

    ENGLISH;

    Good morning a big greeting to all the pet loving community.

    On this occasion I am pleased to introduce you to CHAMA, a dog of doubtful breed but a great friend and home companion.

    • This dog is about 5/6 years old because she arrived home about three years ago very thin and underweight.
    • She was a stray dog that we adopted and took care of, we got a great feeling of affection for her.
    • Is very funny and always accompanies us when we go for a walk although sometimes it is a little uncomfortable because other stray dogs sometimes bother her but between @juva and me we have always taken care of her out there.

    According to Google lens this dog is a potcake breed and it is a type of mixed breed (I always call this mix of dogs "firulays") and it says that it is found in several islands in the Caribbean.
    • The name potcake comes from a traditional local dish, which is seasoned rice and pigeon peas. [The overcooked rice that sticks to the bottom of the pot is commonly mixed with other leftovers and fed to the dogs.]
    • Hence the name, if we investigate a little more we can know that the name firulays also does not exist and that it is a mispronunciation of the word 'FREE OF LICE' this is really funny as this word has been in our language for many, many years.

    Currently CHAMA is suffering from some kind of disease or infection caused by mosquito bites and he keeps scratching and breaking his ears, at this time here in Venezuela it has been raining continuously I guess that's why the increase of these pests.

    • No matter how hard we try she always gets out, when she comes back sometimes she has these broken wounds again and I am not sure if she fights with other dogs or has been in contact with garbage and that is why she keeps the infection.

    • She has been treated multiple times with a product called Lepecid which has closed the wound but not completely.

    I hope she heals soon so I can share with you a little more about this case.
