Greetings friends of the Hive Open Mic community.
"My cure, my disease" is a song by the Venezuelan rock band Tomates Fritos from their 2010 album Hombre Bala.
This is a group that was founded in 1996 in the city of Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela, a region in the east of this country which is a neighbor of my hometown, therefore, I had to share a stage with Tomates Fritos on many occasions, and although it is a softer musical style than the one I performed, I was able to accept their initiative favorably.
This song, and the album in general, feeds a lot on country which gives it a very striking touch, it caught my attention for more than 10 years and today I want to participate with it in this majestic contest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
me estoy levantando
nena aunque no regreses quiero oír tu voz
no existe fe,
que pueda sanar
no existe nadie como tú, mi cura mi enfermedad
Hasta aquí, llega mi última oración
puedes ver del pasado lo mejor
créeme que aunque quiera cambiar
eres tú, tú, mi cura mi enfermedad
No existe un té, que pueda curar
no existe fe,
que pueda sanar
no existe nadie como tú, mi cura mi enfermedad
"My cure, my disease"
She says she's going, she says she's coming back and I just
I'm getting up
the food in the room no one tried
the mornings the same
in the afternoons I get worse, what does it matter, I put up
baby even if you don't come back I want to hear your voice
There is no tea, that can cure
there is no faith, that can heal
there is no one like you, my cure my disease
I got tired of reading
I realized that I was wasting my time
I don't care about anything, nothing is what happens
when you're not
Of course I saw you, of course I lost you
how do you think the bodies hold up
If I get lost waiting for something I know
There is no tea, that can cure
there is no faith, that can heal
there is no one like you, my cure my disease
Here goes my last prayer
you can see the best of the past
believe me that even if you want to change
it's you, you, my cure my disease
There is no tea, that can cure
there is no faith, that can heal
there is no one like you, my cure my disease
Gracias por leer y escuchar... Hasta una próxima publicación!
