Vivir sin aire (Maná Cover) by Eugelys | (ESP-ENG)

En esta publicación podría hablar sobre la historia de la agrupación mexicana Maná, ir a Wikipedia o a muchas otras páginas de internet, leer sobre ellos y luego venir a contarles sobre lo que leí en todas ellas, podría colocar fotos de los integrantes, todos talentosos y geniales. Podría hacerlo pero...¿Tendría sentido? ¿Sería realmente original mi escrito? ¿No es un blog algo más parecido a un diario o se parece más a un trabajo de investigación de secundaria?

In this post I could talk about the history of the Mexican band Maná, go to Wikipedia or many other websites, read about them, and then come to tell you about what I read in all of them, I could post pictures of the members, all talented and cool. I could do that but...would it make sense, would my writing be really original, isn't a blog more like a diary, or is it more like a high school research paper?

Para mi tiene más sentido crear desde mi experiencia, vivencias, pensamientos con respecto a su música. Podría entonces contarles como Mana se convirtió en el catalizador para que muchos de los adolescentes de los años 90 nos interesáramos por la música. Recuerdo a un profesor de música que comentó una vez es que todos quieren aprender guitarra para tocar las canciones de Maná y no mentía. Las guitarras iban y venían con los pocos acordes que, usualmente, requieren las canciones de esta famosa banda. Recuerdo que un amigo me grabó en un casete de uno de los discos de Mana, uno de mis favoritos: Cuando los ángeles lloran, y recuerdo que ese casete sonó mucho en mi walkman (XD).

To me it makes more sense to create from my experience, experiences, and thoughts regarding their music. I could then tell you how Mana became the catalyst for many of us teenagers in the 90's to become interested in music. I remember a music teacher who once commented that everyone wants to learn guitar to play Mana songs and he wasn't lying. The guitars came and went with the few chords that are usually required for the songs of this famous band. I remember that a friend of mine recorded one of Mana's albums, one of my favorites, on a cassette tape: Cuando los ángeles lloran, and I remember that that cassette played a lot in my walkman (XD).

Podría seguir contando mucho más sobre aquello que la música de Maná me ha hecho sentir, vivencias con su música, como me han podido influenciar como cantante. Escribir de esta manera es mi forma de ser original en este gran mar de gente. Navegamos por estas aguas y tenemos el compromiso de ser lo más originales y auténticos posible. Necesitamos conectarnos con otras personas, apoyarles y hacerles sentir que no están solos. Y no hablo de escribirle al privado a alguien solo para abordarle con preguntas o invadir su espacio personal. Hablo de aconsejarle y mostrarle cómo pueden hacerse las cosas con compromiso y amor.

I could go on telling much more about what Mana's music has made me feel, my experiences with their music, and how they have influenced me as a singer. Writing in this way is my way of being original in this great sea of people. We navigate these waters and we have a commitment to be as original and authentic as possible, we need to connect with other people, support them and make them feel that they are not alone. And I'm not talking about writing to someone privately just to approach them with questions or invade their personal space. I'm talking about advising them and showing them how things can be done with commitment and love.

Hace unas semana hablaba con @Lisbeth26 en comentarios que no me gusta el rasgueo de guitarra, no siento que sea lo que mejor hago pero Maná lo requiere, así que aquí voy con esta versión de Vivir sin aire, espero que les agrade, si supiera silbar haría el intro así pero no lo sé hacer (jajaja).

A few weeks ago I was talking to @Lisbeth26 in comments that I don't like guitar strumming, I don't feel I know what I do best but Maná requires it, so here I go with this version of Vivir sin aire, I hope you like it, if I knew how to whistle I would do the intro like this but I don't know how to do it (hahaha).
