La semana pasada me sumergí en una inmensa alegría mientras grababa mi cover para el Hive Open Mic, la selección fue sencilla. En cambio esta semana me descubrí pensando sobre qué canción compartir. Al pensar en la frase "More than Words" (Más que palabras), inmediatamente venía una sola canción a mi mente...ya sabrás de cual te hablo ¿verdad? ¡Sí, esa misma! Así que seguí buscando otras opciones, recuerdo haber googleado la palabra "Palabra" para ubicar algunas canciones, salieron varias y la verdad que no las conocía, entonces empecé a buscar un sentido menos literal y preguntarme que significa la frase Más que palabras para mi.

Last week I was immersed in immense joy as I recorded my cover for the Hive Open Mic, the selection was simple. This week, on the other hand, I found myself thinking about which song to share. When I thought of the phrase "More than Words", immediately one song came to mind...you know the one, right? Yes, that's the one! So I kept looking for other options, I remember googling the word "Word " to locate some songs, several came up and the truth is I didn't know them, then I started looking for a less literal meaning and wondering what the phrase More than Words means to me.

Comencé a pensar en el significado y llegué a la conclusión que cuando no queda palabras es porque ha llegado el final, pensé en el momento en que la voz se apaga y que tal vez aún después de partir del plano terrenal podemos regresar en forma de brisa o rocío para cuidar a quienes amamos, para saludarnos de vez en cuanto, para que ellos puedan sentir nuestra presencia sin temor.

I began to think about the meaning and I came to the conclusion that when there are no words left it is because the end has come, I thought about the moment when the voice goes out and that maybe even after leaving the earthly plane we can return in the form of a breeze or dew to take care of those we love, to greet us from time to time so that they can feel our presence without fear.

Tomé el cuatro y algunos acordes en secuencia empezaron a tener vida, lo hice punteando las cuerdas, no había hecho esto antes en el cuatro y espero que esté bien, empecé diciendo: Cuando ya no pueda hablarte, cuanto no pueda cantarte.... Esta canción nació este martes en la mañana, decidí grabarla y me invadió una gran tristeza desde el momento en que me preparaba para cantar, terminé llorando, recordando a aquellas personas que han partido de mi vida, tal vez ahora son la brisa que me abraza o el rocio que baña el maíz.

I picked up the four and some chords in sequence started to come to life, I did this by plucking the strings, I had not done this before with my Cuatro and I hope it is fine, I started by saying: When I can't talk to you anymore when I can't sing to you.... This song was born this Tuesday morning, I decided to record it and a great sadness invaded me from the moment I was getting ready to sing, I ended up crying, remembering those people who have left my life, maybe now they are the breeze that embraces me or the dew that bathes the corn.
