En la Cima del cerro el Café / At the top of Cerro el Café

De vuelta con algunas historias que quedaron rezagadas el año pasado, pero antes de contarlas, deseo que este nuevo año que se inicia venga cargado de cosas buenas para cada uno de ustedes, si tuviera una varita mágica repartiría PAZ MENTAL, pero no funciona de esa manera, así que les seguiré contando nuestras aventuras que las pinto divertidas pero la realidad es otra cuando enfrentamos subidas de 23 grados de inclinación como las del cerro el Café en Valencia-estado Carabobo-Venezuela.

Back with some stories that were left over from last year, but before telling them, I wish that this new year that is starting comes loaded with good things for each of you, if I had a magic wand I would hand out MENTAL PEACE, but it does not work that way, so I will continue telling you our adventures that I paint them fun but the reality is different when we face climbs of 23 degrees of inclination as those of the Cerro el Café in Valencia-Carabobo State-Venezuela.

Mi querida compañera @sherescolche escribió un post espectacular sobre esta ruta desde su percepción con fotos muy bonitas de todo lo que rodea este cerro, quiero complementar con el vídeo y mi óptica la belleza y exigencia de este camino que lleva a la cima de la montaña con vistas que quitan el aliento. Confieso que no imaginé lo complejo de este sendero, desde el inicio comenzó la subida en asfalto, a los pocos metros tuvimos que pasar sobre unas piedras gigantes que nos obligaron a bajarnos de la bicicleta (no hubo opción) y continuamos avanzando sorteando las zanjas, algunas muy profundas que ameritaron superarlas caminando; Aldemaro tuvo problema con los frenos pero lo solucionó rápido y el compañero Johan llevó una bicicleta eléctrica y se deleitó metiéndose por caminos mas complejos aún.

My dear colleague @sherescolche wrote a spectacular post about this route from her perception with very nice photos of everything that surrounds this hill, I want to complement with the video and my optics the beauty and demand of this path that leads to the top of the mountain with breathtaking views. I confess that I did not imagine the complexity of this path, from the beginning the asphalt ascent began, a few meters later we had to pass over some giant stones that forced us to get off the bike (there was no choice) and we continued moving forward dodging the ditches, some very deep that required to overcome them walking; Aldemaro had a problem with the brakes but solved it quickly and Johan took an electric bike and was delighted to get into even more complex roads.

Según Johan, Manuel y Aldemaro era una ruta fácil pero la realidad fué otra (para mi)... igualmente tienen mucho merito porque nos invitan a conocer nuevos paisajes, a romper nuestras propias limitaciones y a disfrutar de nuevas experiencia (de eso se trata la aventura). El ultimo tramo de la ruta fué en cemento con una subida interminable hasta que por fin llegamos a la cima para observar el paisaje de la ciudad adornada de montañas y bosques de pino, valió todo el esfuerzo.

According to Johan, Manuel and Aldemaro it was an easy route but the reality was different (for me)... they still have a lot of merit because they invite us to know new landscapes, to break our own limitations and to enjoy new experiences (that's what adventure is all about). The last stretch of the route was on cement with an endless climb until we finally reached the top to observe the landscape of the city adorned with mountains and pine forests, it was worth all the effort.

Decir que no me preocupaba el regreso les diría mentiras, pero valiente es que sigue adelante a pesar del miedo, sin pensarlo mucho nos lanzamos en la pronunciada bajada sorteando las sorpresas e irregularidades del camino (es indescriptible la sensación), todos estábamos felices cuando llegamos a la salida del cerro por haberlo logrado.
De allí nos fuimos a comer unos ricos tequeños que hacen con masa de maíz (una delicia) y luego a un sitio de aguas termales llamado Centro Termal las Trincheras caracterizado por aguas que emergen del subsuelo a altas temperaturas (entre 30 y 45 grados centigrados), repartidas en 3 piscinas. Según la información del sitio dice: " Las aguas de las Trincheras son reconocidas por expertos internacionales como las segundas en el mundo por su temperatura y las primeras por su composición química y propiedades curativas". Así culminó esta exquisita aventura de diferentes matices; conociendo, explorando y arriesgándonos para enriquecer nuestras vidas... ¡que fortuna!

To say that I was not worried about the return would be a lie, but brave is the one who goes ahead despite the fear, without thinking much we launched ourselves on the steep descent dodging the surprises and irregularities of the road (the feeling is indescribable), we were all happy when we reached the exit of the hill for having succeeded.
From there we went to eat some delicious tequeños made with corn dough (a delight) and then to a hot springs site called Centro Termal las Trincheras characterized by waters that emerge from underground at high temperatures (between 30 and 45 degrees Celsius), distributed in 3 pools. According to the information on the site: "The waters of Las Trincheras are recognized by international experts as the second in the world for their temperature and the first for their chemical composition and healing properties". Thus culminated this exquisite adventure of different nuances; knowing, exploring and taking risks to enrich our lives.... what a fortune!
