Good afternoon everyone. A few days ago I opened the door to Christmas this year with a participation that I did in the Holos and Lotus community, about the smells of childhood, and the first thing that came to my mind were the smells of Christmas that since childhood I have enjoyed in my home. It is well known that many of us start organizing the house early, deep cleaning, and painting, to dedicate ourselves to decorating with all the ornaments and details alluding to this special date. That's why I'm kicking off my Christmas ideas this year for everyone who has an affinity for crafts with recycling, and also without it. This time I am going to share with you the materials and the steps to make a simple Christmas napkin holder with lollipops.
To make this napkin holder that we can make in different sizes, models, height, and width, we are going to need the following materials:
Los pasos para elaborarlo son los siguientes:
The steps to make it are as follows:
- First I joined 12 palettes with a teipe, one next to the other.
- Then I placed in the upper part, in the middle part, and in the lower part, crossed pallets and adhered with hot silicone.
- I repeated this same procedure to form the walls of the napkin holder.
- The edges of the lower part were trimmed with a wire cutter.
- Then I made the base in the same way, using 12 palettes, holding them with teipe and gluing two crossed palettes with hot silicone, one on the upper part, and the other on the lower part.
- Once the walls and the base were finished, the walls were fixed with hot silicone to the edge of the base, by the part that was cut.
- Finally, using pieces of foami, the petals and leaves were traced to make a Christmas flower.
- The pieces were joined on a yellow circle, fixing them with hot silicone, and a smaller yellow circle was placed in the center.
- The Christmas flower was fixed with hot silicone on one of the walls of the napkin holder.
- Note: You can make two flowers and place one on each side, and the use of glitter is also optional, but since it is a table decoration it is preferable not to use this material as a precaution.
I hope you enjoyed this easy tutorial and make your own napkin rings. I made mine wide to place cloth napkins on it on Christmas Eve, when the time comes I will show them to you. Happy Sunday, and welcome Christmas!
