Tan natural - Felipe Peláez (Cover) [ENG/SPA]

Bienvenidos a mi blog musical, hoy les comparto una interpretación de «Tan Natural», canción de género vallenato popularizado por el Felipe Peláez y compuesto por Sergio Luis Ávila Rodríguez. Hay una versión acústica de Peláez y Manuel Julián que es mi favorita. Es como una de esas canciones que se cuelan en tu playlist y que disfrutas mucho. Aprecio mucho el trabajo musical que hacen los grandes exponentes del género, y algunas canciones las recuerdo, apenas empiezan a sonar. Y es que en nuestras comunidades viven muchas personas de origen colombiano y existe una dictadura dentro del transporte público y privado, donde prevalece más la salsa erótica, el vallenato, el trap, el reguetón y la música romántica. Muy poco encontraremos un Joropo, u otros géneros de la música venezolana, al menos que vivamos en los estados llaneros. Normalmente, estamos acostumbrados a escuchar vallenato comercial y romántico, sin embargo, si alguno viaja a nuestro país hermano, se dará cuenta de la riqueza cultural que posee, que contiene diferentes ritmos, estilos y escuelas.

Welcome to my music blog, today I share an interpretation of "Tan Natural", a vallenato genre song popularized by Felipe Peláez and composed by Sergio Luis Ávila Rodríguez. There is an acoustic version by Peláez and Manuel Julián that is my favorite. It's like one of those songs that slips into your playlist and that you really enjoy. I really appreciate the musical work that the great exponents of the genre do, and I remember some songs as soon as they start to sound. And it is that many people of Colombian origin live in our communities and there is a dictatorship within public and private transport, where erotic salsa, vallenato, trap, reggaeton and romantic music prevail. We will find very little a Joropo, or other genres of Venezuelan music, unless we live in the plains states. Normally, we are used to listening to commercial and romantic vallenato, however, if someone travels to our sister country, he will realize the cultural richness that it has, which contains different rhythms, styles and schools.

La pieza original está en Fa mayor, yo la toco el Sol mayor, la diferencia entre el piano y la trompeta es de un tono. Algunas cosas que considero que tienen su grado de dificultad, son las figuras de las notas, aunque bastante repetitivos con semicorcheas. Por otra parte, es que gradualmente va subiendo de altura, hasta llegar a notas que se sobresalen del pentagrama, como por ejemplo el Si Natural. Los primeros compases los disfruto mucho, ya que los hago con naturalidad, luego va subiendo el nivel. Lo he dicho antes, esto es como una carrera, y uno tiene que dosificar el aire. Imagínense salir corriendo en un maratón con todas tus fuerzas, y llegar arrastrado a la meta. Por eso los mejores corredores, comienzan con un ritmo lento, suave y constante, para en las últimas vueltas rematar. Pienso que a medida que pase el tiempo, con estudio y dedicación, irá mejorando las notas agudas, la flexibilidad y el picado. Espero disfruten de esta interpretación.

The original piece is in F major, I play it in G major, the difference between the piano and the trumpet is one tone. Some things that I consider to have their degree of difficulty are the figures of the notes, although they are quite repetitive with sixteenth notes. On the other hand, it is that it gradually rises in height, until it reaches notes that stand out from the staff, such as the B Natural. I really enjoy the first few bars, since I do them naturally, then the level goes up. I have said it before, this is like a race, and one has to dose the air. Imagine running in a marathon with all your might, and being dragged to the finish line. That is why the best runners start with a slow, smooth and constant rhythm, to finish off in the last laps. I think that as time goes by, with study and dedication, the high notes, flexibility and chopping will improve. I hope you enjoy this interpretation.
