Hive Open Mic Week #172 | Superman (It's Not Easy) - 5 for Fighting (Cover) by @yisusth [ENG/SPA]

Welcome to my music blog, it is a pleasure to share once again in the Hive Open Mic Week #172 with the theme “Family” chosen by the friend and talented recent featured artist of our community: @edwardstobia. Today I bring you my interpretation with the trumpet of «Superman (It's Not Easy)», a pop rock song composed by Vladimir John Ondrasik III, and known as Five for Fighting. The song is a power ballad about the pressures of being a superhero. The singer compares himself to Superman and says that he is "more than a bird, I am more than a plane." There is a phrase that catches my attention and that I can connect with the theme of the week: “Finding a way to lie about a home I will never see”. I think many people have wondered if they will be happy and have a family. That is a legitimate concern. The song is a reminder that it's okay to be different and that we should all be proud of who we are. The piece is composed in the key of C major and has a moderate tempo.

Bienvenidos a mi blog musical, es un placer compartir una vez más en el Hive Open Mic Semana #172 con la temática “Familia” elegida por el amigo y talentoso artista destacado reciente de nuestra comunidad: @edwardstobia. Hoy les traigo mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Superman (It's Not Easy)», una canción de género pop rock compuesto por Vladímir John Ondrasik III, y conocido como Five for Fighting. La canción es una poderosa balada sobre las presiones de ser un superhéroe. El cantante se compara con Superman y dice que es "más que un pájaro, yo soy más que un avión". Hay una frase que me llama la atención y que puedo conectar con el tema de la semana: “Encontrar una manera de mentir sobre un hogar que nunca veré”. Considero que muchas personas se han preguntado si serán felices y tendrán una familia. Esa es una preocupación legítima. La canción es un recordatorio de que está bien ser diferente y que todos debemos estar orgullosos de quienes somos. La pieza está compuesta en la tonalidad de do mayor y tiene un tempo moderado.

If there is something that I think is of great importance in this world, it is the family. For God it is important, and it is part of his purpose to be born into a family. There is no perfect family, home is a laboratory where we experiment and have the opportunity to learn, there we get rid of our egoism, and we become better people. It is not easy to start a family and raise children in these times. Maybe at some point, we feel incapable or that this project is not for us. For those who have lost their family, or still do not have it, and consider that it is beyond their reach, I want to say that there is hope. The family can be restored and found if we move forward with faith, and determination towards achieving that beautiful goal. God will always do the miracle.

Si hay algo que pienso que es de gran importancia en este mundo es la familia. Para Dios es importante, y es parte de su propósito es nacer dentro de una familia. No existe familia perfecta, el hogar es un laboratorio donde experimentamos y tenemos la oportunidad de aprender, allí nos desprendemos de nuestros egoísmos, y nos hacemos mejores personas. No es fácil formar una familia, y criar a los hijos en estos tiempos. Puede que en algún momento nos sintamos incapaces o que este proyecto no es para nosotros. Para aquellos que han perdido a su familia, o aún no la tienen, y consideran que esté lejos de su alcance, quiero decirles que hay esperanza. La familia puede ser restaurada, y encontrada si avanzamos con fe, y determinación hacia el logro de esa hermosa meta. Dios siempre hará el milagro.
