Ya te olvidé - Marco Antonio Solís (Cover) [SPA/ENG]

Saludos a toda la comunidad de Music, hoy les interpreto con la trompeta una canción que se titula «Ya te olvidé» escrita por Marco Antonio Solís. Este fue interpretado por primera vez por Roció Dúrcal y recientemente por la cantante mexicana Yuridia. También quiero contarles algunos aspectos en cuanto a la selección del tema, la grabación y la edición.

Greetings to the entire Music community, today I play a song with the trumpet entitled «I already forgot you» written by Marco Antonio Solís. This was performed for the first time by Roció Dúrcal and recently by the Mexican singer Yuridia. I also want to tell you some aspects regarding the theme selection, the recording, and the edition.

A lo largo de la semana voy seleccionando y guardando canciones que tienen pista y partitura. Algunas partituras están hechas para que sean interpretadas por instrumentos que tienen la misma tonalidad de la trompeta, eso hace posible que pueda tocar temas de un saxofón tenor, o un soprano, incluso un clarinete. Dependiendo de la dificultad, practico varias veces la canción hasta que salga. Luego de un descanso significativo, estoy listo para grabar. Otro aspecto tiene que ver con la potencia de la pista, algunas tienen bajo volumen, y toca usar sordina. En otras publicaciones he comentado que me ayuda a reducir el volumen de la trompeta.

Throughout the week I am selecting and save songs that have a track and score. Some scores are made to be played by instruments that have the same key as the trumpet, which makes it possible to play themes from a tenor saxophone, a soprano, or even a clarinet. Depending on the difficulty, I practice the song several times until it comes out. After a significant break, I'm ready to record. Another aspect has to do with the power of the track, some have low volume, and you have to use a mute. In other posts, I have commented that it helps me reduce the volume of the trumpet.

Después de eliminar las distracciones, grabo los temas con una cámara Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H55, es una buena cámara, y tiene más de 10 años conmigo. Para la edición del video uso un programa llamado Shotcut, es muy bueno y tiene una versión gratuita. Aún me estoy familiarizando con las funciones que tiene, como los filtros y las transiciones. Al principio no sabía aplicar filtros para aclarar el video. Pero afortunadamente encontré a algunas personas en YouTube que explican su funcionamiento. Otros aspectos de video, como la introducción y el final, los realizo con Adobe Express. Las imágenes y los videos cortos son de contenido libre. Estos se encuentran en la aplicación en línea, o videos en Pixabay o en UnsPlash.

After removing distractions, I shoot the tracks with a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H55 camera, it's a good camera, and it's been with me for over 10 years. For video editing I use a program called Shotcut, it's very good and it has a free version. I'm still getting familiar with the features it has, like filters and transitions. At first, I didn't know how to apply filters to lighten the video. But luckily I found some people on YouTube explaining how it works. Other video aspects, like the intro and the ending, I do with Adobe Express. Images and short videos are free content. These are found in the online app, or videos on Pixabay or Unsplash.

Luego de la edición del video, entonces comienzo a editar el contenido, este lo edito en Word y luego de hacer una revisión ortográfica, hago una segunda revisión con un corrector gramatical en línea. En cuanto a la traducción uso el traductor de Google, eso me ayuda a ahorrar tiempo. Aunque hablo en Inglés, y tengo un nivel óptimo de lectura. Luego de traducir, trato de hacer un chequeo de la traducción, y hago correcciones gramaticales por cuenta propia, también uso una extensión en Google cuando estoy editando en Inglés, eso me ayuda a corregir. Esta se llama Grammarly.

After editing the video, then I start editing the content, I edit it in Word and after doing a spell check, I do a second check with an online grammar checker. As for the translation, I use Google Translate, which helps me save time. Although I speak English, I have an optimal level of reading. After translating, I try to do a translation check and do grammar corrections on my own, I also use a Google extension when I'm editing in English, which helps me to correct. This one is called Grammarly.

Un aspecto importante para mi son las fuentes, cuando se trata de música hay información o aspectos técnicos que deben estar debidamente referenciados, la letra de las canciones son de dos plataformas que me parecen confiables, ya que estas pasan por un proceso de verificación y de curación. Entre las páginas para letras están Musixmatch y LyricFind. Abajo les dejaré los enlaces, por si gustan usarlos para sus publicaciones.

An important aspect for me is the sources, when it comes to music there is information or technical aspects that must be properly referenced, the lyrics of the songs are from two platforms that seem reliable to me since they go through a process of verification and healing.
