Saludos amigos de HiveBar, como lo han podido observar en el video quise compartir con ustedes la degustación de una cerveza dominicana, por lo poco que sé al parecer es la favorita de los Dominicanos, la famosa Cerveza Presidente. Fabricada por Cervecería Nacional de República Dominicana. Aca te dejo el enlace a la página oficial de la Cerveza Presidente, solo pincha aqui. Los datos específicos de la cerveza los he investigado propiamente de la página oficial de la cervecería, pues quería más detalles sobre sus ingredientes y elaboración.

Sobre la cerveza tengo que decir que no es de las mejores que he probado y con esto no digo que sea mala cerveza, sino al contrario me pareció una cerveza de sabor interesante. Un amargor que me ha gustado, con un agradable sabor a malta. Con respecto a los otros sentidos, visualmente tiene un color dorado suave y una espuma en principio abundante pero poco densa, estructuralmente las burbujas no son muy robustas y por esa razón se difuminaron muy rápidamente. Tiene un aroma suave y dulce, con ciertos tonos de lúpulo.

Si me preguntan con que acompañar esta cerveza y diría que comida rápida, unos tostones quizá. Aunque pensándolo bien, es una cerveza tropical por eso parece predominar el frescor que le parece caracterizar. No creo que pase a ser de mis cervezas favoritas, sin duda la bebería en la playa compartiendo con amigos, no considero que sea una cerveza para probar de manera cotidiana.

Tasting a Dominican beer

Greetings friends of HiveBar, as you have been able to observe in the video I wanted to share with you the tasting of a Dominican beer, from what little I know apparently is the favourite of the Dominicans, the famous Cerveza Presidente. I have researched the specifics of the beer myself from the brewery's official website, as I wanted more details about the ingredients and brewing process.

About the beer I have to say that it is not one of the best I have tasted, and by this I am not saying that it is a bad beer, but on the contrary I found it to be a beer with an interesting taste. A bitterness that I liked, with a pleasant malty flavour. With respect to the other senses, visually it has a soft golden colour and an initially abundant but not very dense head, structurally the bubbles are not very robust and for that reason they faded very quickly. It has a soft and sweet aroma, with certain hoppy tones.

Ask me what to pair this beer with and I'd say fast food, maybe some tostones. Although, come to think of it, it is a tropical beer so the freshness that seems to characterise it seems to predominate. I don't think it will become one of my favourite beers, I would definitely drink it on the beach with friends, I don't consider it a beer to try on a daily basis.
