FAST DESIGN 04 | ANG3L👼

Hello Hive Art community,
I present to you the FAST DESIGN 04 session. On this occasion, I bring you the "ANG3L" cover, which was inspired in the moment, along with its entire composition. If you enjoyed the video, I invite you to learn more about the process I have been acquiring during the design.

CONCEPTO / CONCEPT
Les recuerdo que el concepto FAST DESIGN consiste en ponerme a prueba con una imagen generada y, a partir de eso, diseñar lo primero que se me ocurra en el menor tiempo posible, tratando de no superar los 30 o 40 minutos. Solo es un concepto, ya que por razones lógicas, el diseño de cualquier objeto o proyecto es fundamental completarlo con todos los materiales disponibles.

I'd like to remind you that the FAST DESIGN concept is about challenging myself with a generated image and then designing the first thing that comes to mind in the shortest time possible, aiming not to exceed 30 or 40 minutes. It's just a concept because, for logical reasons, the design of any object or project fundamentally requires using all available materials.

PROCESO / PROCESS

Lo primero que hice fue duplicar la imagen generada. Luego procedí a crear un texto con la palabra "ANGEL", el cual utilizaría como máscara de recorte para combinar ambas, de manera que el texto y la imagen se ajustaran adecuadamente en la parte inferior.

The first thing I did was duplicate the generated image. Then I proceeded to create a text with the word "ANGEL," which I would use as a clipping mask to combine both so that the text and the image would fit appropriately in the lower part.

Con la herramienta "Selección rápida", seleccioné al ángel y creé una máscara de capa para el recuadro blanco. Luego, con un pincel, borré parte del recuadro para que se pudiera ver el rostro del ángel junto con su ala.

Using the "Quick Selection" tool, I selected the angel and created a layer mask for the white box. Then, with a brush, I erased part of the box to reveal the angel's face alongside their wing.

El armado del texto completaría el resto del diseño. Para esto, decidí crear frases relacionadas con el ángel y añadir una barra inferior para los iconos que terminarían de conformar el póster y sus características.

The text assembly would complete the rest of the design. For this, I decided to craft phrases related to the angel and add a bottom bar for the icons that would finalize the poster and its features.

Para finalizar el diseño, como se ve en el video, se me ocurrió la idea de recortar al ángel con una de sus alas para darle un efecto de movimiento y jugar con la portada. Dado que ya llevaba 15 minutos trabajando en ello, consideré que esta última composición, junto con la textura, era adecuada. Siempre es fundamental aplicarla al final de cualquier diseño para darle profundidad y realismo.

To conclude the design, as seen in the video, I came up with the idea of cutting the angel with one of its wings to create a sense of movement and add an element of playfulness to the cover. Since I had already spent 15 minutes on it, I felt that this final composition, along with the texture, was appropriate. Applying texture at the end of any design is always essential to give it depth and realism.
