AFRI-TUNES WEEK #75 || OBA TONJA FUNMI BY GBENGA AKINFENWA (COVER)

Hello Afri-tunes community and all music lovers I hope we're all doing well... it's another week again to share and explore African music on hive, Afri-tunes week #75, this week I'll be presenting a song by Gbenga Akinfenwa titled "oba tonja funmi" which means the king that flights for me.

There's a popular song that also says "you carry me when some carry their gods, you feed me Lord when some feed their gods, you fought for me when some fight for their gods, Jesus you no dey use me play oh."

God has been fighting and winning our battle knowingly and unknowingly, when we're asleep and awake, every seconds, every minute He's always there, the only being that never sleeps not slumber, He did not sleep untop our matter, all glory to His name.

Personally I know if it's not God over my matter maybe I would have been consumed. It's by his mercies that I'm alive today.
Some of our mates are gone already while some that are younger/older are also gone but here we are alive and healthy, I think it worth giving thanks for.
We should know it's not by our righteousness nor good behavior but it's just God that shows mercy.

He said He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy and compassion on whom He will have compassion, counting us worthy among those that has obtained mercy is a great privilege.

The first time I listened to this song, I had to put it on repeat together with "Aanu," that he released then. Gbenga Akinfenwa is a brilliant music minister, one who has been blessing me personally with so many lovely songs, I hope God will continue to strengthen him. Yeah I'll be presenting with my guitar again, the novice guitarist is here again lols, I hope you find my music rendition okay, Thanks. 🥰
