AFRI-TUNES WEEK #86 || NIGBATI MORO COVER

Hello Afri-tunes community and everyone I hope we're all doing great, guess what? its weekend and I'm so excited, weekend is a happy time for me, because I'll have enough time to rest and prepare myself for the new week.

Okay it's Afri-tunes week #85, another time to share and explore awesome African tunes, I'll be sharing with us a typical Yoruba song by Tope Alabi titled "Nigbati Moro."

This song is quite old, it was recorded in the year 2007 under the album "Angeli mi." Despite the long time of its recording, it's still very popular and relevant till date especially in Yoruba speaking churches like mine, it's still being used during praise and worship section.

Nigba ti moro, means "when I think about it," when we think about how far God has helped and brought us in the journey of life, we won't do anything else than to just praise and give Him thanks.
Just like the lyrics of the song that says, right from when we were born till when we start growing up as a child, we crawl to the hands of those that don't want us to live, yet God keep us safe from all evil, He prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies and here we're wining and dining without any problem.

We only have the chance to give God praise and thanksgiving when we're still alive, have not seen a dead body praising or giving God thanks, it's only when we're alive we can give Him the maximum praise He deserves.
