[ESP/ENG] Getting to know the Castle of San Antonio de la Eminencia 🏰

Hello friends, I hope you are very but very well, today I want to share with all of you a tour of one of the historical relics that can be found in the State of Sucre, I am talking about the Castle of San Antonio de la Eminencia, built in the seventeenth century to protect the city of Cumana. This castle is located on the highest hill of this city called Sugar Loaf and from it you can see the Gulf of Cariaco and also the peninsula of Araya.

It is my first time visiting this beautiful castle so I dedicated myself to walk through every space to which the passage was allowed, at the beginning you have to walk a more or less long piece to reach the entrance of the castle, where you will find a central garden in a circular shape and also with stairs that lead you to the historic center of the city.

At the top of the stairs you will find an ancient cannon that is guarding the entrance to this ancient fortification.

At the bottom of the stairs you will find a first space where you will find cannons that were part of the armaments that defended this castle 🏰.

Then you cross a puete that connects to the highest part of the castle, which is shaped like a four-pointed star where each point points to each cardinal point north, south, east and west. In this area you have a spectacular view of the city, this day when I visited the castle was a rainy day and everything was cloudy but still the view was incredible, I can not help but imagine how you must see a sunset from that point.

Walking through these spaces is really magical, looking at the dungeons, rooms and small rooms make you imagine how it would be lived in those moments of the time, in the video you can see how some of these rooms were inside.

The cannons can be seen everywhere in different sizes, despite all the years that have passed and that are under no protection can be seen regal, massive and heavy ... They are very beautiful!

After the tour of the castle bos we went to walk the path of the Spaniards, this was the path used by the Spaniards to disembark to reach the castle, this has been rebuilt because after a strong earthquake it was destroyed. This path leads to the stairs that lead to the historic center because the first governors had tunnels that connected the castle with the historic center.

Hola amigos, esperoquese encuentren muy pero muy bien, hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes un Recorrido por una de las reliquias históricas que podemos encontrar en el Estado Sucre, les hablo del Castillo de San Antonio de la Eminencia, contruida en el siglo XVII para proteger a la ciudad de Cumaná. Este castillo se encuentra en el cerro mas alto de esta ciudad llamado pan de azúcar y desde él se pueden observar el golfo de cariaco y también la península de Araya.

Es mí primera vez visitando este hermoso castillo asi que me dedique a recorrer cada espacio al que se permitiera el paso, al principio toca caminar un pedazo mas o menos largo para pider llegar a la entrada del castillo, donde te encontraras con una jardinera central en forma circular y también con unas escaleras que te dirigen al casco histórico de la ciudad.

Al inicio de las escaleras te encontraras con un cañon antiguo que esta como resguardando la entrada a esta antigua fortificación.

Al subier las escaleras teencintraras con un primer espacio en el que encontraras cañones que formaban parte de los armametos que defendian este castillo 🏰.

Luego cruzas un puete que conecta con la parte mas alta del Castillo, que tiene forma de estrella de cuatro puntas donde cada punta señala a cada punto cardinal norte, sur, este y oeste. En esta zona tienes una espectacular vista de la ciudad, este dia en que visite el castillo era un dia lluvioso y todo estaba nublado pero aun asi la vistaera increíble, no puedo dejarde imaginar como se debe ver un atardecer desde ese punto.

Caminar por estos espacios es realmente mágico, mirar los calabozos, las salas y las pequeñas habitaciones te hacen imaginar como sería lo vivido en esos momentos de la época, en el video pueden apreciar como eran alginas de estas habitaciones por dentro.

Los cañones los puedes ver por todas partes en diferentes tamaños, a pesarde todos los años transcurridos y que se encuentran bajo ninguna protección se pueden ves regios, macizos y pesados... Son gruecisimos!

Luegodel recorrido por el castillo bos fuimos a recorrer el camino de los españoles, este era el camino que usaban los españoles al desembarcar parapoder llegar al castillo, este lo han reconstruido pues despues de un fuerte terremoto se destruyó. Este camino da con las escaleras que llevan al casco histórico pues los primeros gobernadores tenian tuneles que conectaban el castillo con el casco histórico.
