Hive open mic week #143 || [cover] Wade in the water by the spirituals [ENG/ESP]

It's good to be in here for my first entry for the year 2023, happy new year everyone... with this week theme "voice of hope" I'll be presenting a song titled "Wade in the water" by the spirituals. I was inspired by @magicfingerz song and write up, have been contemplating on the song to choose since I saw the theme but seeing his presentation I was triggered to also make a cover.

Relating this song to firstly, my country Nigeria, she's experiencing a hard time at the moment, there's need for God to send us someone who will save this country from the mess she is at the moment.

There's someone already who seems to be like our saviour although we can't put our trust on people or the person but God will surely use someone for us, as he won't come down himself. We hope one day things will be fine.

Secondly am relating this song to everyone who's hoping for something good or a god change, despite the difficult situation facing the children of Israel they got freedom. No matter the challenge we're facing I hope we'll also receive freedom from that thing troubling us.

Es bueno estar aquí para mi primera entrada para el año 2023, feliz año nuevo a todos... con el tema de esta semana "voz de esperanza" estaré presentando una canción titulada "Wade in the water" de los espirituales. Me inspiré en la canción y la escritura de @magicfingerz, he estado contemplando la canción que elegiría desde que vi el tema, pero al ver su presentación me impulsó a hacer también una versión.

Relacionando esta canción en primer lugar, mi país Nigeria, está pasando por un momento difícil en este momento, es necesario que Dios nos envíe a alguien que salve a este país del desastre en el que se encuentra en este momento.

Ya hay alguien que parece ser como nuestro salvador aunque no podemos poner nuestra confianza en las personas o la persona pero Dios seguramente usará a alguien para nosotros, ya que él mismo no bajará. Esperamos que algún día las cosas estén bien.

En segundo lugar, relaciono esta canción con todos los que esperan algo bueno o un cambio de Dios, a pesar de la difícil situación que enfrentan los hijos de Israel, obtuvieron la libertad. No importa el desafío al que nos enfrentemos, espero que también nos liberemos de esa cosa que nos preocupa.
