Hello Afri-tunes community and all music lovers on the blockchain, Welcome to afri-tunes music event week #83, a community where we share and explore African music. For this week I'll be presenting the cover version of a song titled "you're God" by Nathaniel Bassey.
Asides the meaningful and inspirational lyrics of the song, I also love it personally because of its simplicity, maybe it's just me that saw it as a simple song though, I find it so easy to sing though not in the professional way like my bosses would have presented it but as a little boy in music.
Now to the lyrics of the song, to me it's so captivating and direct, saying who God truly His, He's God and there's no one to be compared with Him, there's no place for argument or reason to argue about it, He's the one and only God.
God created everything bright and beautiful, the times and season, the animals, water, air, trees etc and most especially we the human beings in His likenesses and also made us ruler over all other things He created.
Without further ado, this song is a very beautiful song and a highly recommendable song if you're looking for a song that talks about God and His greatness.
I'll be doing the Acapella version and I hope you find it interesting, but then the video quality is a bit low because it just rained when I did the recording, which affected the quality of the video. Nevertheless I hope you enjoy it, thanks.
You've got times and seasons in your hands
You called for light out of darkness
You don't need a man to be the God you are
But you have chosen to call me your own.
