Mi remontada en el torneo Hive Chess Tournament 🔥♟️| ESP-ENG

Que tal amigos, hoy muestro un poco de lo que fue mi participación en la 8va ronda de la liga Hive Chess Tournament organizado por el amigo @stayoutoftherz. En esta ocasión el torneo fue llevado a cabo con un sistema suizo a el cual consiste en emparejar a los jugadores con las mimas puntuaciones y de no poder asignarles contrincantes con las mimas puntuaciones se asignan jugadores con puntuaciones cercanas, fueron 7 rondas las que se jugaron a un ritmo de juego con 4 minutos y un 1 segundo de incremento para cada jugador. En un principio la primera partida que tuve no la jugué técnicamente porque mi rival estaba desconectado 😅.

Asimismo, en la segunda ronda me enfrento contra @emic (emichessmaster), fue una partida con demasiados giros ya que ninguno de los dos paraba de hacer errores 😂, mi primer error fue sacrificar mi Torre en b2 pensando que el al capturar con Txb2 yo podría recapturar su torre con Axc3 amenazando las dos torres que estaban en diagonal, pero consiguió la intermedia Ad2!

Esa intermedia me dejó con calidad de menos cosa que mi rival fue aprovechando bien, restringiendo cada vez más y más mi posición hasta llegar al apuro de tiempo en donde los errores de parte de cada uno no dejaban de ocurrir, quedando en un final con solo los reyes acabando así la partida en un empate. Sabemos que hallar las mejores jugadas teniendo pocos segundos en el reloj es algo muy dificil, es una de las grandes diferencias que existen en el ajedrez de ritmo blitz con el clásico.

En la tercera ronda me enfrento contra pereu4uwatch, fue una partida que considero supe aprovechar bien el subdesarrollo de piezas de parte de las negras y la situación de su rey que perduro mucho tiempo en el centro.

En la siguiente ronda me enfrento contra @tungphong (blackswan21), fue la única partida que perdí de este torneo, donde en una posición con igualdad de material y sin muchas complicaciones colapsé y hago un tremendo error que es 23.Te8

Esta jugada deja el camino libre para que mi rival obtenga ventaja material tras 24.Cc7, quedando de esta forma las dos torres amenazadas por el caballo, dejándome así con calidad de menos. Claramente con esta ventaja le es suficiente a un jugador tan fuerte como blackswan21 consolidar la victoria.

En la 5ta ronda me enfrento con @eniolw, en una partida donde quedo muy mal desde la apertura por el movimiento 12.Ce4:

Esta jugada hace que mi rival pueda bloquear mi movilidad del flanco dama tras capturar mi caballo y luego hacer la jugada Cc6, dejándome en una posición completamente incomoda sin muchas formas de liberarse, pero pasado unas jugadas llegamos a una posición donde había mucha táctica latente, puesto que la Dama blanca había quedado en una posición bastante comprometida. La respuesta correcta contra la amenaza de Ad8 era Df4, una jugada que a primera impresión confunde mucho ya que el negro puede responder con quitarse de la clavada del alfil de c3 con Rg8 y amenazar encerrar la dama con g5, por ello no parecía natural llevar la dama a la casilla f4.

Asimismo contra la jugada nro 27.Ad8 las blancas hacen el grave error de 28.Da7 debido a que tras 28.Ab6, 29.Dxa6, Ta8! encierra por completo la dama blanca, haciendo que quede con una gran desventaja material.

Continuando con el torneo, llegamos a la penúltima ronda donde me enfrento contra @samostically (ZGM_Samostically) en una partida que estuvo realmente llena de muchas imprecisiones por parte de ambos, pero también con sacrificios interesantes por parte del jugador de piezas negras los cuales decidí aceptar y no logró hallar el mejor camino para explotar la posición indefensa del rey blanco. Fue una partida bastante interesante donde hay que poner mucha atención y cálculo al sacrificio en b2 de las negras.

Finalmente, llegamos a la ultima ronda donde me enfrento contra el puntero del torneo que era @cocacolaron (cocacolaron) fue una partida muy luchada donde cada uno buscaba la mejora progresiva de su posición pero llegado el zeinot (apuro de tiempo) el jugador con las piezas blancas comete un sacrificio erróneo donde no existía forma alguna de explotar la posición del rey negro.

De esta forma terminamos el torneo con una puntuación de 5.5 puntos de 7 posibles logrando quedar en el segundo puesto empatado en el tercer lugar pero siendo favorecido por el sistema de desempate. Felicidades a @jaki01 por el primer lugar. Nos vemos en la próxima edición 🤟.

What's up friends, today I show a little of what was my participation in the 8th round of the Hive Chess Tournament league organized by my friend @stayoutoftherz. That intermission left me with less quality, something that my opponent was taking good advantage of, restricting more and more my position until I reached the time trouble where the mistakes of each one kept happening, ending in an endgame with only the kings, ending the game in a draw. We know that finding the best moves with few seconds on the clock is something very difficult, it is one of the big differences that exist in the blitz chess with the classic one.

In the third round I faced pereu4uwatch, it was a game that I think I took good advantage of the underdevelopment of black pieces and the situation of his king that lasted a long time in the center.

In the next round I play against @tungphong (blackswan21), it was the only game I lost in this tournament, where in a position with equal material and without many complications I collapsed and made a tremendous mistake which is 23.

This move leaves the way open for my opponent to gain material advantage after 24.Nc7, leaving the two rooks threatened by the knight, leaving me with a minus quality. Clearly with this advantage is enough for a player as strong as blackswan21 to consolidate the victory.

In the 5th round I faced @eniolw, in a game where I was very bad from the opening by the move 12:

This move makes my opponent able to block my queenside mobility after capturing my knight and then making the move Nc6, leaving me in a completely uncomfortable position without many ways to free myself, but after a few moves we reached a position where there was a lot of latent tactics, since the white queen had been left in a rather compromised position. The correct answer against the threat of Ad8 was Df4, a move that at first glance is very confusing since black can respond by getting rid of the pinning of the bishop on c3 with Rg8 and threatening to enclose the queen with g5, so it did not seem natural to take the queen to the square f4.

Continuing with the tournament, we reached the penultimate round where I faced @samostically (ZGM_Samostically) in a game that was really full of many inaccuracies by both, but also with interesting sacrifices by the player with black pieces which I decided to accept and failed to find the best way to exploit the defenseless position of the white king. It was quite an interesting game where you have to pay a lot of attention and calculation to Black's sacrifice on b2.

Finally, we reached the last round where I faced the leader of the tournament who was @cocacolaron (cocacolaron) it was a hard fought game where each one sought the progressive improvement of his position but when the zeinot (time trouble) arrived the player with the white pieces made an erroneous sacrifice where there was no way to exploit the position of the black king.

In this way we finished the tournament with a score of 5.5 points out of a possible 7, achieving second place tied for third place but being favored by the tiebreaker system. Congratulations to @jaki01 for the first place. See you in the next edition 🤟.
