    About :

Hello friends from the Gods Unchained community, is everything okay with you? I hope so.

Ever since I found out that every 25 levels up in Gods Unchained you get a legendary chest as a reward, which obviously contains a legendary card, which I became aware of when I reached level 25 and received a legendary chest, I have been working hard and looking forward to reach level 50 in the game and thus receive another legendary chest.

I do not remember how long it took between level 25 and level 50, but I can safely say that it was more than 25 days between these, and this period was prolonged as a result of the end of year holidays, so I can say that it is not such an easy task to evolve so much.

In fact, if it were not so, that is, if it were easy to evolve 25 levels, we certainly would not be rewarded with legendary baus.

So, considering all the factors involved in reaching level 50, it deserves to be shared when it is done, and that is what I am here to do with you in this post today, that is, I want to share with you my arrival at level 50 in Gods Unchained, and then show you the legendary chest and the cards it contains.

    And here we go.

I decided to record the moment of reaching level 50 when I was very close to it, specifically at level 49 with no more than 3 battles left to level up, and then I started recording the battles and later recording the opening of the chest.

And it was indeed necessary only 3 battles to reach level 50, having won one and lost two of the 3 battles, which can be seen in the video above, but which I will deal specifically with below.

But initially it is pertinent to note that in the three battles I used a nature deck, which I have already dealt with in a previous post and can be checked here.

    Let's look at the battles:

    image.png

The first of the 3 battles in I started with a victory against an opponent who also chose the Nature Goddess.

He had a big disadvantage in the match, because even though he was the second to play, he simply "skipped" his first turn, giving me the opportunity to add 2 creatures to the battlefield already in the second turn.

From then on I kept a good grip on the battle, always having an advantage in the number of creatures.

On the fifth turn I added "Bladefly", a wild 2/2 creature that, with its Roar ability, summons another two 2/2 "Bladefly", that is, 3 creatures on the same card.

And on the next turn I used Wildfire, through which one damage is done to all my opponent's creatures and my Wild creatures get 1 point of strength, 1 point of life and 1 point of regeneration, they got really strong, let's see:

    image.png

This is one of my favorite combos from this deck and it certainly proves to be very powerful, the creatures become very strong and still gain life regeneration.

From then on he didn't have many options left and his opponent gave up just 2 turns after the combo.

    It was a beautiful victory.

In the second battle my opponent chose a light team, having started the battle by summoning a relic on the first turn and, on the second turn, the legendary "The Nemean Lion" whose ability is to increase its status by 1/1 whenever a creature enters the battle.

On my second turn I made a wrong move, summoning a creature with Roar that ended up increasing the strength of "The Nemean Lion", which did not prove to be adequate afterwards.

This mistake caused me great difficulty in later defeating the Lion, because the opponent kept focusing on adding creatures with Roar to the battle, making it stronger and stronger.

He also managed to control my creatures well with the God of Light's "Lysander's Honor" ability, through which he reduced the strength of one of my creatures by one point.

On the fourth turn I ended up making another mistake, as I summoned the "Bladefly" again and thought that only the first of these would have the Roar ability, but this was not the case, all three "Bladefly" increased the Lion's strength and life, living and learning.

And this mistake really cost me, as in the next round the opponent brought into play another amazing legendary creature, "Bardelys, Parthene Orator" which also had the Roar ability and gained 1 strength point for each of my creatures and 1 life point for each of his creatures, becoming a 5/4 creature for the low cost of 3 mana points.

I tried to keep my defense always active, but my creatures didn't even last a turn on the battlefield and I couldn't do anything with them.

And after completely dominating the battlefield with 5 creatures, 3 with protection, the opponent still used "Radiant Dawn" which grants 1/2 to all friendly creatures, making them extremely powerful:

    image.png

There was not much that could be done, so I decided to quit after 2 rounds, when the opponent had 24 attack points on the battlefield.

    image.png

The third battle was again against the goddess of nature, just as it had been the first, with me taking the first turn.

In this battle I was really completely dominated, having kept a little control just at the beginning, but my opponent played amazingly well and imposed himself.

By the fifth round he had 2 powerful creatures, including one that granted him a nature card every round (Celestial Stag), which remained until the end of the battle.

In the seventh round the battle was contested, but the opponent used "Sudden Bloom" which granted him 5/5, overkill and twin strike to his most powerful creature, having annihilated all my creatures with just one attack, so I left the game the next turn already defeated.

Although it was only 1 win in the 3 matches, the experience gained was enough to reach level 50 and win the legendary chest.

The opening of the chest can be seen in the video above, and I received the following cards:

    image.png

As you can see there were 4 common cards, 2 nature and 2 neutral, and a legendary card of the Goddess of Death.

Among the common cards, the one I found most interesting was the first one, "Canopy Barrage", which deals 4 damage to a random enemy creature and costs only 2 mana points. This spell can be interesting for killing a creature with a mana cost much higher than 2, and is certainly an advantage.

    image.png

The legendary card contained in the open pack was "Cerberus, Styx Hound" from the Goddess of Death whose 5/6 status is average for a 7 mana card.

But "Cerberus, Styx Hound" has an amazing ability whose effect is to randomly destroy three other creatures with 3 life points or less at the end of the turn.

It is really a battlefield "cleaner".

It can be very useful if used wisely, since you don't need to destroy an opponent's creature until its life is reduced to zero, just leave it with 3 life points and you can attack another one, because at the end Cerberus will finish the job.

And that's it my friends, this is another milestone reached by me in Gods Unchained and now I also have another legendary card, I hope you enjoyed it.

    Thanks for reading.
