Fondo de Sábado - Entrenamiento MTB - 87 km [Esp/Eng] 🚴🚴🚴

   Sigo entrenando, con los amigos que viajan al sur de Argentina a competir, y aprovechando los fondos (trayectos largos) que están realizando, me acoplo para mejorar mi estado sobre la bicicleta. Este episodio ocurrió el mismo día que Boca Juniors, jugaba la final de la copa Libertadores en Brasil y como algunos amigos ciclistas, no se lo querían perder, rodamos por zonas aledañas e igualmente, pudimos realizar 87 kilómetros aproximadamente.

I continue training with friends who travel to the south of Argentina to compete, and taking advantage of the funds (long distances) they are doing, I join to improve my condition on the bike. This episode occurred the same day that Boca Juniors played the final of the Libertadores Cup in Brazil and as some cycling friends did not want to miss it, we rode through nearby areas and still, we were able to make approximately 87 kilometers.

      Juan, uno de los amigos que, a veces, me regala algunas de sus capturas, esta vez solo una pudo realizar, me confesó y que es cuando subimos con la bicicleta al hombro a la autopista.

      Mientras seguíamos entrando en calor, encontrábamos en el camino ciclista que se iban sumando al pelotón. Esa mañana, no sé por qué, me sentía genial, tanto anímicamente, como muscularmente y eso, es un buen síntoma, cuando sabes que lo que viene será duro.

As we continued to warm up, we found cyclists on the road who were joining the peloton. That morning, I don't know why, I felt great, both mentally and muscularly, and that's a good sign when you know that what's coming will be hard.

      Estos momentos, donde te sentís un niño explorador, riéndote con los amigos, como cuando éramos niños... sí, así de bonito es la experiencia. Una dama en el pelotón (Nora, su nombre, esposa de Juan), quedaba bajo nuestra responsabilidad, porque su esposo debió abandonar el entrenamiento, por cuestiones personales a resolver.

These moments, where you feel like a boy scout, laughing with friends, like when we were kids... yes, that's how nice the experience is. One lady in the platoon (Nora, her name, Juan's wife), was under our responsibility, because her husband had to leave the training, due to personal issues to be solved.

      Ya en la autopista, la cosa cambio. El viento dijo presente, el sol del medio día pegaba más fuerte, pero esa adrenalina se disfruta en demasía. Tiramos un rato cada uno (Tirar: persona que va adelante del pelotón, cortando el viento y por ende soportando el mayor "dolor"), menos Nora y no por ser mujer, porque realmente le da para tirar y mucho más, sino porque lo queremos cuidar, ya que se avecina el evento competitivo para ella.

Once on the highway, things changed. The wind was present, the midday sun hit harder, but that adrenaline is enjoyed too much. We pulled for a while each one (Pulling: person who goes ahead of the peloton, cutting the wind and therefore bearing the greatest "pain"), except Nora and not because she is a woman, because she really can pull and much more, but because we want to take care of it, since the competitive event for her is coming.

      Una nueva rodada con amigos, aprovechando el clima primaveral de la Argentina, donde los días son más largos y uno puede disfrutar más tiempo. Pronto, se vendrán otras competencias para mí, pero eso ya es tema para otro post.
