Probando una "Bomba de Chocolate" 🍫(ESP-ENG)

Hi dear foodies! Hoy quiero dejarles por acá una reseña de un dulce sitio que visité el mes pasado: Sugarland, Heladería y Chocolatería. >Hi dear foodies! Today I want to leave you a review of a sweet place I visited last month: Sugarland, Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop.

Es una heladería que abrió en la ciudad hace aproximadamente 2 meses, en el sector centro-sur, la cual ofrece una gran variedad de helados, postres, malteadas y también salados como "paninis"(sándwiches) y jugos naturales. Tiene un horario de martes a domingo, desde las 12:00 hasta las 9:00pm.

It is an ice cream parlor that opened in the city about 2 months ago, in the center-south sector, which offers a variety of ice cream, desserts, milkshakes and also savory dishes as "paninis" (sandwiches) and natural juices. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm.

Supe de este sitio gracias a Instagram, ya que una "Insta amiga", como ella llama a las amigas que ha hecho en esta red social😅, lo colocó en sus historias y me pareció un sitio muy hermoso, colorido y con platos muy vistosos.

I heard about this site thanks to Instagram, since an "Insta friend", as she calls the friends she has made on this social network😅, posted it on her stories and I found it a very beautiful, colorful site with very colorful dishes.

Así que un día que estaba con mi hermana haciendo diligencias, le comenté que había un lugar que quería visitar con muchas ganas, sobre todo ir a probar un postre llamado "Bomba de chocolate", que a una fan del chocolate como yo, seguramente le encantaría. Y accedió a ir conmigo en ese momento.

So one day when I was with my sister running errands, I told her that there was a place I really wanted to visit, especially to try a dessert called "Bomba de chocolate", which a chocolate fan like me would surely love. And she agreed to go with me at that moment.

Llegamos como a la 1:00pm y el sitio me encantó desde la entrada. Tenía unas hermosas nubes colgando, como si fueran de azúcar, y sus paredes llenas de dibujos de donas, helados y muchos dulces. De verdad me sentí en la tierra del azúcar.

We arrived at about 1:00pm and I loved the place from the entrance. It had beautiful clouds hanging, as if they were made of sugar, and its walls were full of drawings of donuts, ice cream and lots of candy. I really felt like I was in the land of sugar.

Nos recibió uno de los amables meseros y nos indicó que podíamos sentarnos donde quisiéramos ya que el sitio estaba casi solo, imagino por la hora. Escogimos la terraza que tiene la vista para la avenida, y enseguida escaneamos el menú desde la mesa. Yo ya sabía qué pedir por supuesto, y mi hermana igual porque es fan de los waffles, así que nos quedamos sentadas, emocionadas, esperando por nuestros postres.

We were greeted by one of the friendly waiters and he told us that we could sit wherever we wanted since the place was almost alone, I guess because of the time of day. We chose the terrace overlooking the avenue, and immediately scanned the menu from the table. I already knew what to order of course, and so did my sister because she is a fan of waffles, so we sat excitedly waiting for our desserts.

La palabra DELICIOSO se queda corta. Los waffles de mi hermana estaba muy suaves, crujientes y ricos, en total balance de dulce. Los helados eran de mango y frutos rojos (fresa, arándanos, mora), y cada uno estaba cremoso y lleno de sabor a las frutas que decía. Nada artificial. La crema chantilly igualmente exquisita, nada grasosa y con un sabor agradable (la cara de mi hermana es porque el plato resultó ser más grande de lo que pensó y estaba rogando poder comérselo todo🤣).

The word DELICIOUS is an understatement. My sister's waffles were very soft, crispy and rich, in total balance of sweet. The ice creams were mango and red fruit (strawberry, blueberry, blackberry), and each one was creamy and full of flavor from the fruits it said. Nothing artificial. The whipped cream equally exquisite, not at all greasy and pleasantly flavored (my sister's face is because the dish turned out to be bigger than she thought and she was begging to be able to eat it all🤣).

Pero el gran momento era mi esperada bomba de chocolate, la cuál llegó como 5 minutos después del plato de mi hermana. Mis ojos no podían creer lo preciosa y brillante que se veía. Verla es querer comértela. Sin embargo, en los videos que había visto en redes, el mesero debe echarle chocolate líquido bien caliente para que se derrita y así descubrir cómo se ve por dentro.

But the big moment was my long awaited chocolate bomb, which arrived about 5 minutes after my sister's plate. My eyes couldn't believe how beautiful and shiny it looked. To see it is to want to eat it. However, in the videos I had seen on social networks, the waiter must pour hot liquid chocolate on it to melt it and find out what it looks like inside.

Amo estos platos que son una experiencia comerlos. Hay mucho esfuerzo y pasión detrás de ellos. Desde el minuto que empieza a caer el chocolate sobre la bola, el corazón se te acelera porque ya tienes activa tu curiosidad y también tu paladar porque quieres conocer el sabor de un plato así de elaborado. Como a los 10 segundos, empieza a derretirse la capa de chocolate poco a poco, y es que puedes observar que adentro te esperan dos generosas bolas de helado de vainilla encima de una cama de galletas trituradas, acompañadas de malvaviscos de distintos tamaños y colores.

I love these dishes that are an experience to eat them. There is a lot of effort and passion behind them. From the minute the chocolate starts to fall on the ball, your heart starts to race because your curiosity and your palate are already active because you want to know the taste of such an elaborate dish. After about 10 seconds, the chocolate layer begins to melt little by little, and you can see that inside two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream await you on top of a bed of crushed cookies, accompanied by marshmallows of different sizes and colors.

El sabor del chocolate es magnífico. Tiene el balance perfecto de dulce y amargo. Y amé los trocitos crujientes que no se alcanzan a derretir. En cuanto al helado, estaba cremoso y divino. Vainilla en su máxima expresión. Combinado con el "crumble" de galletas, la experiencia se describe como maravillosamente chocolatosa, dulce y crujiente.

The taste of chocolate is magnificent. It has the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. And I loved the crunchy bits that don't quite melt. As for the ice cream, it was creamy and divine. Vanilla at its best. Combined with the cookie crumble, the experience is described as wonderfully chocolaty, sweet and crunchy.

Me vine enamorada del lugar, desde su atención, el ambiente, buena relación calidad-precio y por supuesto, el sabor de lo que probé.

I fell in love with the place, from the service, the atmosphere, good prices,and of course, the flavor of what I tasted.

Para una amante del dulce como yo, iría muchas veces más a probar más cosas en esta tierra del azúcar en la ciudad.
