We were already discussing it in the community group and today we make it official.

HiveCuba now has a bot for carrying out P2P exchanges between Hive/HBD and CUP/MLC. We had to do it in a custodial way because the multisignature function is designed for accounts and not for transactions, which was what we needed. Nonetheless, the bot is already active in its testing phase, so I bring you a tutorial on how to use it through a brief example.

We must express our immense gratitude to @ertytux, who has been the main developer of the bot. I have only assisted with the bot's logic, the workflow, and will be improving its usability soon. For now, we need you to test the bot and share your experience with us. This can be done by leaving a comment here or by contacting us on Telegram (same username as on Hive).

As mentioned in the video, but I must remind you that the bot is currently only for those who have a Hive account (obviously) and have delegated a minimum of 50 Hive Power to @hivecuba. During this test phase, we will assess how much Hive Power actually needs to be delegated for the bot to self-manage without the need for a fee. This way, its use will be free and without commissions on any transaction. It is very important to note that although the bot states it, transactions of Hive and HBD made during exchanges will go to the account @hivecuba.p2p that we recently created for this purpose.

For those who do not have enough Hive Power or do not wish to delegate, a commission will be added later for each exchange. Delegating will always be your best option; think of it as a subscription method where you pay with the resources and voting power that the blockchain assigns to that amount of Hive Power.

Hemos tenido que hacerlo de manera custodial debido a que la función de multifirma está creada para las cuentas y no para las transacciones, que era lo que necesitábamos. Aun así, se encuentra ya activo el bot en su fase de prueba y por ello les traigo un tutorial de como usarlo mediante un corto ejemplo.

Tenemos que agradecer enormemente a @ertytux que ha sido el desarrollador principal del bot. Yo solo he ayudado con la lógica del bot, el flujo de trabajo y estaré mejorando su usabilidad próximamente. Por ahora, necesitamos que prueben el bot y nos comenten su experiencia. Puede ser mediante un comentario aquí o contactándonos en Telegram(mismo usuario que en Hive).

Lo digo en el video, pero debo recordarles que el uso del bot de momento está para quienes posean una cuenta de Hive (obviamente) y hayan delegado 50 Hive Power a @hivecuba como mínimo. Durante esta fase de prueba sacaremos cuenta de cuanto Hive Power se necesita en realidad delegar para que el bot puede autogestionarse sin necesidad de poner un fee. De manera que su uso sea gratuito y sin comisiones en ninguna transacción. Muy importante, aunque lo dice en el bot, quiero recalcar que las transacciones de Hive y HBD que se hagan durante los intercambios será a la cuenta @hivecuba.p2p que creamos hace poco para ello.

Para quienes no tengan Hive Power suficiente o no deseen delegar, se añadirá más adelante una comisión por cada intercambio. Delegar siempre será tu mejor opción, piénsalo como un método de subscripción donde pagas con los recursos y el poder de voto que la blockchain le asigna a esa cantidad de Hive Power.
