Hola amigos, hoy les quiero mostrar un hip hop que interprete en la inauguración de la muestra “La Otra Mirada” en la Hacienda La Trinidad en Caracas en 22 de Febrero de este año. La Música la realizo la banda Zoon Soon Bao mientras que yo le puse voz y letra.

Hello friends, today I want to show you a hip hop that I performed at the opening of the art show "La Otra Mirada" at Hacienda La Trinidad in Caracas on February 22 of this year. The Music was performed by the band Zoon Soon Bao while I put the voice and lyrics to it.

Fui uno de los 5 artistas que participo en esta exhibición, para esta realice 5 pinturas de un metro por un metro, las cuales muestran paisajes de sociedades imaginarias creadas por mí, en las que habitan seres fantásticos.

I was one of the 5 artists who participated in this exhibition, for this I made 5 paintings of one meter by one meter, which show landscapes of imaginary societies created by me, in which fantastic beings live.

Elegí esta canción para interpretarla durante la inauguración por que la letra habla de mi país, Venezuela, metamorfoseado en un territorio utópico y maravilloso, metafórico, en el que la poesía habita sus calles, llenando el cuerpo y el alma de sus habitantes.

I chose this song to perform during the inauguration because the lyrics speak of my country, Venezuela, metamorphosed into a utopian and wonderful metaphorical territory, in which poetry lives in its streets, filling the body and soul of its inhabitants.

Durante la interpretación del Hip Hop, un televisor a mi lado proyecto el video original que hice para la canción, en el que un extraterrestre llega a la ciudad del estado Lara en que vivo, Carora, y recorre su calles. Este video es de 2020, fue grabado en plena pandemia. Empieza con algunos de mis dibujos animados por el colectivo Tropical Sadness y pueden verlo por el link que les dejo abajo.

During the performance of the Hip Hop song, a T.V. next to me projected the original video I made for the song, in which an alien arrives to the city of Lara state where I live, Carora, and walks its streets. This video is from 2020, it was recorded in the middle of the pandemic. It starts with some cartoons i draw, animated by the Tropical Sadness collective. You can see it through the link below.
