Es un gusto poder hacer mi primer post acá, he llegado a HIVE gracias a mi amiga @irenenavarroart quien también es mi vecina y por mi primo @ismaelgranados ellos me recomendaron publicar en HIVE.

It is a pleasure to be able to make my first post here, I have come to HIVE thanks to my friend @irenenavarroart who is also my neighbor and my cousin @ismaelgranados recommended that I publish on HIVE.

Siempre he usado las redes sociales para publicar mis pinturas, dibujos y canciones entre otras cosas. El apoyo de quienes me siguen me ha animado a seguir trabajando.

I have always used social networks to publish my paintings, drawings and songs among other things. The support of those who follow me has encouraged me to continue working.

En este video también les hablo de mis más recientes pinturas, 5 paisajes que hice en 6 meses y que se encuentran expuestos en el parque cultural Hacienda la Trinidad de Caracas. Me inspire en la obra de artistas como El Bosco, Brueghel, Feliciano Carballo y Martin Handford, quienes crearon pequeños personajes que interactúan en sus obras.

In this video I also talk about my most recent paintings, 5 landscapes that I did in 6 months and that are exhibited in the Hacienda la Trinidad cultural park in Caracas. I was inspired by the work of artists such as Bosch, Brueghel, Feliciano Carballo and Martin Handford, who created small characters that interact in their works.

Tropical Sadness crew hizo la animación y puso música a una de estas pinturas, la que se llama Majenyelandia. El resto de canciones son de mi proyecto músical TAR MAJENYE y se titulan Neverland con música de Juan Pablo Toledo, Unicornio Marino Pegaso, El Principito de Maquiavelo con la banda doña Maldad, los guacharos y para finalizar Duendes y Astros. Están todas disponibles en Spotify y demás plataformas.

Tropical Sadness crew did the animation and put music to one of these paintings, the one called Majenyelandia. The rest of the songs are from my musical project TAR MAJENYE and are called Neverland with music by Juan Pablo Toledo, Pegaso Marino Unicorn, Machiavelli's Little Prince with the band Doña Maldad, los guacharos and finally Duendes y Astros. They are all available on Spotify and other platforms.

Utilice en la realización de este video la técnica Chroma Key. Compre varias telas verdes que cuelgo desde el techo de mi cuarto. Me grabe con mi teléfono redmi9 utilizando un trípode hecho de madera reciclada. Con el programa de edición Filmora9 pude sustituir luego el verde de las telas para crear el efecto de que estoy dentro de mis propias pinturas.

I used the Chroma Key technique in the making of this video. I bought several green fabrics that I hang from the ceiling of my room. I filmed myself with my redmi9 phone using a tripod made from reclaimed wood. With the editing program Filmora9 I was then able to substitute the green of the fabrics to create the effect that I am inside my own paintings.

Hola, ¿cómo están? me llamo Carlos Luis Sánchez Becerra y soy un artista Plástico Venezolano. La gente también me conoce como Majenye. Me gusta mucho pintar, hacer canciones, videos de música, contorsionarme, bailar, tocar la guitarra. Ahora estoy exponiendo en la hacienda la trinidad 5 pinturas, paisajes, llenos de personajes imaginarios.

Hello how are you? My name is Carlos Luis Sánchez Becerra and I am a Venezuelan plastic artist. People also know me as Majenye. I really like to paint, make songs, music videos, contort, dance, play the guitar. Now I am exhibiting 5 paintings, landscapes, full of imaginary characters at Hacienda La Trinidad.

Estoy dentro de una de esas pinturas, un mundo en el que los cocodrilos son los que dominan, los que gobiernan este planeta. Acá podemos verlos jugando a la pelota, haciendo paracaidismo, montados en la banana, tomando el sol, cabalgando jirafas e incluso un hipopótamo.

I am inside one of those paintings, a world in which crocodiles are the ones who dominate, who rule this planet. Here we can see them playing ball, skydiving, riding bananas, sunbathing, riding giraffes and even a hippopotamus.

Me gusta hacer un arte divertido que no haga referencia a las miserias y tristezas que nos agobian en la vida real…

I like to make fun art that doesn't refer to the miseries and sadness that overwhelm us in real life...

Llegamos a mi versión de la Cueva del Guácharo, en donde hay muchísimos personajes haciendo turismo para conocerla. Hay fantasmas, extraterrestres, dinosaurios, escorpiones, personas e incluso el mismísimo conde del guácharo, pero lo que más hay acá, son Pájaros Guácharo

We arrived at my version of the Cueva del Guácharo, where there are many characters doing tourism to get to know it. There are ghosts, aliens, dinosaurs, scorpions, people and even the Count of Guácharo himself, but what else is here are Birds Guácharo

A los cuales les escribí una canción que dice así:

• Los guacharos se creen murciélagos, si no hay luz les importa un bledo, también les dicen pájaro aceitero, porque fríen vegetales, frutas e insectos

• The guacharos think they are bats, if there is no light they don't give a damn, they are also called oil bird, because they fry vegetables, fruits and insects

Guao, llegamos a Majenyelandia, otro paisaje que invente para la exposición, en el que las casas tienen formas, particulares, formas raras, que seguramente identifican a la persona que viven dentro de ellas, por ejemplo esa casa que esta allá, debe tener forma de Zapato porque adentro vive un Zapatero. Y esa que esta allá debe tener forma de Huevo… porque adentro vive un pollito. Y seguramente en la casa en forma de botella vive un borracho.

Wow, we arrived at Majenyelandia, another landscape that I invented for the exhibition, in which the houses have shapes, particular, strange shapes, that surely identify the person who lives inside them, for example that house that is there, must have a shoe shape because a shoe maker lives inside. And the one over there must be shaped like an Egg… because a chick lives inside. And surely in the house in the form of a bottle lives a drunk.

Ojala que en el futuro a nadie le falte su casa propia, pero que además tenga la forma, el color y el diseño que la persona quiera, sin importar que tan caro resulte, construir una casa como esa.

Hopefully in the future no one will lack their own house, but also that it has the shape, color and design that the person wants, no matter how expensive it is, to build a house like that.

Guao, pero que bonitos pajaritos, hay de todos los colores, de todos los tamaños, de todas las formas, voy a tener que aprender a volar.

Wow, but what pretty little birds, there are all colors, all sizes, all shapes, I'm going to have to learn to fly.

Bueno, parece que exploto el mundo y ahora todas las cosas y todas las personas, estamos flotando por el espacio exterior, ay, que no se me vaya a ir mi sombrero, oh, allí hay un payaso ¿Parece que ahora vamos a tener que hacer un mundo nuevo no? Si ustedes pudieran construir un mundo nuevo, si pudieran dibujarlo ¿pintarlo o hacerlo como les gustaría que fuera?

Well it seems like the world exploded and now everything and everyone, we're floating through outer space, oh, let's not lose my hat, oh, there's a clown there Does it look like now we're going to have to make a new world right?
