Hola Hivers,
En el vídeo de esta semana seguimos en la hermosa ciudad de Barquisimeto y te voy a hablar sobre la Divina Pastora, patrona del estado Lara. Pero, como te conté en el video anterior ya había estado en otra oportunidad en Santa Rosa, en el marco del 159 aniversario de la virgencita. ¡Fue una fiesta multitudinaria!
En esa ocasión, la Pastorcita vestía un traje azul celeste creado por el diseñador venezolano Luis Perdomo. Como dato curioso, la Divina Pastora no tiene un traje fijo, a diferencia de otras vírgenes a ella la visten mensualmente con diseños nuevos o que ha lucido en alguna de las anteriores fiestas de aniversario. Cuentan que hay una lista enorme de personas que les gustaría tener la oportunidad de vestir a la Divina Pastora.

In this week's video we continue in the beautiful city of Barquisimeto and I'm going to talk about the Divina Pastora, patron saint of the state of Lara. On that occasion, the Pastorcita wore a light blue dress created by the Venezuelan designer Luis Perdomo. As a curious fact, the Divina Pastora does not have a fixed costume, unlike other virgins, she is dressed monthly with new designs or that she has worn in one of the previous anniversary celebrations. They say that there is a huge list of people who would like to have the opportunity to dress the Divina Pastora.

En esa primera oportunidad, con mis compañeros de equipo, caminamos desde Santa Rosa hasta la Avenida Lara, donde paramos a realizar las entrevistas correspondientes. Debido a la gran cantidad de gente que había, no logramos llegar a la Catedral en la Avenida Venezuela, donde termina el recorrido. En esta segunda visita, coincidimos con la Semana Santa y nos dio tiempo de ver la majestuosidad del Templo, a la Pastorcita vestida en un traje azul oscuro, sentarnos a hablar con ella y a orar por la protección de la familia, los amigos, el país y el mundo entero.

Due to the large number of people, we did not make it to the Cathedral on Venezuela Avenue, where the tour ends. In this second visit, we coincided with Holy Week and we had time to see the majesty of the Temple, the Pastorcita dressed in a dark blue suit, sit and talk with her and pray for the protection of the family, friends, the country and the whole world.
