Hola Hivers, En el vídeo de esta semana te voy a contar de mi visita a Barquisimeto, la hermosa ciudad crepuscular y musical. No es la primera vez que la visito, pero en esta segunda oportunidad capturé en mi memoria y registré con la cámara de mi celular cada lugar y paisaje. La primera vez que viajé para allá fue en enero de 2015 por razones de trabajo, tenía que hacer la cobertura de la procesión de la Divina Pastora para Voluntad Popular. Era la periodista responsable de acompañar a la familia de Leopoldo López, para ese entonces preso político del gobierno de Nicolás Maduro, quienes asistirían a la procesión más importante del país para pedir por el cese de la persecución y la violencia que vivía el país en esos años. Me alegré mucho cuando me hicieron la invitación para ir la segunda vez, porque fui en plan de turista. Fueron 4 días de paseos, caminatas y momentos agradables con mi familia. ¡Me divertí un montón!. Hicimos un largo recorrido por las avenidas Ribereña, Lara y Venezuela, entre otras. Visitamos el pueblo de Santa Rosa y el santuario de la Divina Pastora; el Monumento de la Madre Divina Pastora, el parque zoológico Bararida, la plaza Bolívar, el Bosque ecológico Macuto y el C.C. Sambil Barquisimeto. Espero volver para conocer más de esta maravillosa capital del occidente del país: La Catedral de Barquisimeto, El Obelisco, La Flor de Venezuela, El Monumento del Sol Naciente al que le dimos una pasadita en auto, el Museo de Barquisimeto, El Parque del Este, entre otros sitios de interés.

In this week's video I'm going to tell you about my visit to Barquisimeto, the beautiful twilight and musical city. It is not the first time I visit it, but this second time I captured in my memory and recorded with my cell phone camera every place and landscape.
The first time I traveled there was in January 2015 for work reasons, I had to cover the procession of the Divina Pastora for Voluntad Popular. I was the journalist responsible for accompanying the family of Leopoldo López, by then a political prisoner of the government of Nicolás Maduro, who would attend the most important procession in the country to ask for an end to the persecution and violence that the country was experiencing in those years.
I was very happy when I was invited to go the second time, because I went as a tourist. It was 4 days of walks, hikes and pleasant moments with my family, I had a lot of fun!
We did a long tour along the Ribereña, Lara and Venezuela avenues, among others. We visited the town of Santa Rosa and the sanctuary of the Divina Pastora; the Monument of Mother Divina Pastora, the Bararida Zoo, the Bolivar Square, the Macuto Ecological Forest and the Sambil Barquisimeto Shopping Mall. I hope to return to see more of this wonderful capital of the western part of the country: the Cathedral of Barquisimeto, the Obelisk, the Flower of Venezuela, the Monument of the Rising Sun which we visited by car, the Museum of Barquisimeto, the Parque del Este, among other places of interest.
