HiveFest 2023: Alessandra's Trip to Rosarito | CTT Podcast Video [ENG SUB]

I went to Mexico I just couldn't believe how fast that I was in Rosarito after landing in San Diego it was insane like a time warp I thought it was going to be big pain in the arse and it was not it was so smooth and fact I never showed my passport until I checked into the hotel Hahaha :) Yeah! you just drive right in most of the time unless you're carrying a lot of luggage they're not trying to they're just trying to tax you if you bring anything in but always tell people it feels like driving like a Walmart parking lot and just drive right into Mexico the experience is just very straightforward yeah it's definitely easy to get here I don't know about the Tijuana option because as a bystander who was like considering how to travel there I was like San Diego or Tijuana I'm like look I don't know Tijuana at all I better stick with an airport that I've been to and just reduce the friction as much as possible but I tell you what the hardest thing of the whole thing was the transportation from the San Diego airport to Rosarito in you guys had that handled it's really good to know we currently obviously don't know the final numbers yet and kind of still things are still up in the air so what we're doing is we track in and we're trying to get as much information from people who are traveling to either San Diego or Tijuana on that day so that we can know exactly how much transport we need to provide if it's a lot numbers in San Diego then we'll provide a bus if it's on the bus then they'll probably check the bus when it goes through the border so it'll be a little bit more friction than you had just on a car but it's really easy as they might ask you to pay like a 28 dollar entrance tax and then you you're on your way, you know if the numbers aren't so high either you know it's not economical to put a bus on or two then we'll just put people through on individual taxes and we'll just gaze with them directly and obviously keep in touch with them the days before they arrive so we make sure they get contacted we make sure the same experience that you had where they get picked up by a driver that drivers very dependable and they know what they're doing they've done the ride thousands of times with their eyes closed
