Buenas tardes hoy les traigo la quiero morir la versión de DLG por la tonalidad de La menor, es una canción que escucho desde muy pequeño y me encanta, originalmente es una salsa que estoy seguro que han visto poner a bailar a todo el mundo en más de una fiesta. Dark Latin Groove fue la banda por la cual yo conocí este maravilloso tema, en su segundo álbum de 1997 llamado “Swing on” fue que surgió esta canción de la que hoy hablamos. Gracias a la fusión del grupo que combina salsa con reggae, hip hop y house es que el tema pega y encanta tanto esto se lo debemos a la idea de Sergio George quien fue el que se encargó de darle vida al proyecto de DLG, y claro la voz tan especial de Huey Dunbar.

En America latina ha sido un tema bien acogido y que gusto mucho a la gente. Pero muchos desconocen el origen de la canción leyendo un poco me sorprendí al ver que originalmente el tema es de Framcos Cabrel, fue un éxito en Francia llamado "Je l'aime à mourir", el mismo Cabrel dijo que su segundo álbum no desato pasiones hasta que añadió este tema, gracias a este tema es que él debe su éxito, y al ver la popularidad que alcanzo el tema contacto con el compositor español Luis Gómez Escolar, para que hiciera la adaptación a nuestro idioma. Esta fue la letra en la que se basaron las versiones en español que hoy en día conocemos.
