Buscando un nuevo rumbo 📘🖊

El año pasado para estas fechas estuve trabajando felizmente como freelancer haciendo narraciones y por un tiempo me estuvo resultando, por lo menos asi lo fue hasta hace unos meses que poco a poco fui perdiendo mi cartera de clientes fijos y un par de meses despues tambien la entrada de nuevos clientes, en vista de este panorama de falta de trabajo decidí relajarme y dedicarme de lleno a ensayar y pasar tiempo en mis hobbys, podía dedicar mucho mas a mis entrenamientos y ensayos pero claro no vivo de estas cosas, asi que luego de pasar 2 meses sin ningún trabajo me consumió el miedo, dije ¿Dios mío que hare ahora?

Last year at this time I was happily working as a freelancer doing narrations and for a while it was working for me, at least it was until a few months ago that I was gradually losing my portfolio of regular clients and a couple of months later also the entry of new clients, in view of this panorama of lack of work I decided to relax and dedicate myself fully to rehearse and spend time on my hobbies, I could devote much more to my training and rehearsals but of course I do not live on these things, so after spending 2 months without any work I was consumed by fear, I said my God what will I do now?

Tenia tiempo sin sentir tanta incertidumbre y miedo, no es lo mismo quedar sin ingresos siendo joven que cuando ya tienes responsabilidades y cargas. ¿Aquí fue donde dije y por que no lo intento como editor?, no les mentiré me entraron los mil y un peros, no eres tan bueno en eso, carecer de buen equipo, es muy probable que nadie te quiera contratar por que hay muchísimos mejores que tu, y aquí entendí algo, estuve exactamente en la misma situación eh incluso peor cuando quise trabajar en voice off. y Dije bien pongamos el mismo reto lo intentare, hare audiciones para varios clientes y si para febrero sigo igual, me dedico a otra cosa.

I haven't felt so much uncertainty and fear for a long time, it's not the same to be left without income when you are young than when you already have responsibilities and burdens. This is where I said why don't I try it as an editor? I won't lie to you, I got a thousand and one buts, you are not that good at it, lack of good equipment, it is very likely that no one wants to hire you because there are many better than you, and here I understood something, I was exactly in the same situation and even worse when I wanted to work in voice off. and I said well let's put the same challenge I will try, I will audition for several clients and if by February I am still the same, I will do something else.

Di el salto al vacío y comencé a tocar puertas, la experiencia de saber como venderme y haber aprendido a saber escuchar a los clientes me ayudo mucho esta vez, tarde muchísimos menos intentos en conseguir a quienes trabajarles, y eso que realice pocas muestras a decir verdad solo realice 2 esta y una anterior que pueden ver en otro post de comienzo de años. A veces solo necesitamos dar ese salto de fe para mejorar nuestra vida, hoy gracias a esto puedo seguir manteniendo el ritmo de vida que llevo y estar tranquilo. Feliz semana.

I took the leap into the void and started knocking on doors, the experience of knowing how to sell myself and having learned to listen to customers helped me a lot this time, it took me much less attempts to get who to work, and that I made few samples to tell the truth I only made 2 this and a previous one that you can see in another post from the beginning of years. Sometimes we just need to take that leap of faith to improve our life, today thanks to this I can continue to maintain the pace of life I lead and be calm. Happy week.

Fueron gracias a estas muestras que conseguí mis primeros dos clientes, aun soy algo lento trabajando y tengo mucho que mejorar por lo cual mantendré el stand asi por ahora, pero planeo hacer mas muestras antes de que termine el mes de febrero para buscar mas. Quien sabe tal vez vean mis trabajos en algún reels o Shorts JAJA. Sin siquiera saber que yo estuve detrás de ellos.

It was thanks to these samples that I got my first two clients, I'm still a little slow working and I have a lot to improve so I'll keep the booth like this for now, but I plan to do more samples before the end of February to look for more. Who knows maybe you will see my work in some reels or Shorts HAHAHA. Without even knowing that I was behind them.
