Hello friends of Hive, I hope you had a Merry Christmas! For my part I can't complain, it hasn't been my best year, but we managed to keep a very important tradition like the Christmas Eve dinner, and that's thanks to the fact that God keeps this humble family together.

¡Hola amigos de Hive, espero hayan tenido una Feliz Navidad!. Por m parte no me puedo quejar, no ha sido mi mejor año, pero logramos mantener una tradición muy importante como la cena de noche buena, y eso es gracias a que Dios sigue manteniendo unida esta humilde familia.

We did not spend it in our house, we are in the closest place my dad's legs allowed us to get to momentarily, which is my grandparents' house, his mother's house. Despite the discomfort it represents for me, since I seem to be the only one who has not been able to adapt to this new reality, that night I smiled and felt the same magic of every year, because the most important thing will always be to be together.

No la pasamos en nuestra casa, estamos en el sitio más cercano al que las piernas de mi papá nos permitieron llegar momentáneamente, que es la casa de mis abuelos, su casa materna. A pesar de las incomodidades que representa para mí, ya que parezco ser el único que no se ha podido adaptar a esta nueva realidad , esa noche sonreí y sentí la misma magia de cada año, porque lo más importante siempre será estar juntos.

It is a privilege to still have dinner at home with my parents @armandolnrs ans @zorajr united in love and marriage at 34 years old. Not everyone has that joy. They have proven to be two very strong people who have been able to respond to this adversity of 2022, which has been the hardest blow we have received as a family. They are both courageous and admirable and continue to be examples to me. There is not a day that goes by that I do not learn from them...

Es un privilegio cenar en casa aún con mis papás @armandolnrs y @zorajr unidos en amor y matrimonio a mis 34 años. No todo el mundo tiene esa dicha. Ellos han demostrado ser dos personas muy fuertes que han sabido responder ante esta adversidad del 2022, que ha sido el golpe más duro que hemos recibido como familia. Ambos son valientes y admirables y siguen siendo ejemplo para mí. No hay día que no aprenda de ellos...

I owe everything to my brother @alinares and his girl @cochanet. They are the people who opened the doors of their nest of love to receive my parents and have taken care of all the most difficult tasks. Maybe he is also the one with whom I argue the most, but it is always in the name of improving and strengthening us as a family. I have never pretended to hate any of my family. The situation has tested us all in different ways, but it is the same burden. I practically owe this dinner to Gladys, because this year I did not have my characteristic strength to carry the baton of Christmas.

A mi hermano @alinares y su chica @cochanet les debo todo. Son las personas que abrieron las puertas de su nido de amor para recibir a mis papás y se han encargado de todas las labores más difíciles. Quizás también él sea con quien más discuto, pero siempre es en nombre de mejorar y fortalecernos con familia. Jamás he pretendido odiar a ninguno de los míos. La situación nos ha puesto a prueba a todos de maneras distintas, pero es la misma carga. Prácticamente esta cena se la debo a Gladys, porque este año no tuve mi fuerza característica de llevar la batuta de la navidad.

I am very grateful to have my beloved @jhoxiris in my life. Who has had the burden of cheering me up every day since that accident that changed our lives, because that smile you see me in this photo above has already become eventual. This year I have discovered that the three men in this little family have chosen the right women to accompany us and make each other happy.

Agradezco enormemente tener en mi vida a mi amada @jhoxiris. Quien ha tenido la carga de animarme cada día desde aquel accidente que cambió nuestras vidas, porque esa sonrisa que me ven en esta foto de arriba ya se ha convertido en algo eventual. Este año he descubierto que los tres hombres de esta pequeña familia hemos elegido a las mujeres correctas para acompañarnos y hacernos felices mutuamente.

I don't like this house where we have spent Christmas, not at all.... But I like the beautiful people with whom I have shared, my family. One more year we gathered to sing to Baby Jesus; with our voices a little tired, but we did it and that is comforting. It was the strangest Christmas I've ever had, but it was Christmas.

No me gusta esta casa donde hemos pasado la navidad, para nada... Pero me gusta la gente bella con quien he compartido, mi familia. Un año más nos reunimos a cantarle al Niño Jesús; con nuestras voces algo cansadas, pero lo hicimos y eso es reconfortante. Fue la navidad más extraña que he tenido, pero fue Navidad.

In one way or another our Baby Jesus of Turmero came to Maracay to maintain the union, and I am sure that he will fulfill what I know that each one of the members of this family, the six of us and the rest of Los Linares have asked him with so much faith, the total healing of my dad. Only he knows when it will be. God's timing is perfect and if anything characterizes us is that we must accept his holy will.

De una u otra manera nuestro Niño Jesús de Turmero llegó hasta Maracay para mantener la unión, y estoy seguro que nos cumplirá lo que sé que cada uno de los miembros de esta familia, tanto nosotros seis como el resto de Los Linares le ha pedido con tanta fe, la sanación total de mi papá. Solo él sabe cuando será. El tiempo de Dios es perfecto y si algo nos caracteriza es que debemos aceptar su santa voluntad.
