Happy New Year my Puku Friends!. Especially to moderators @orimusic and @nahupuku, special people, rockers and colleagues in the musical journey of Hive. With much joy I want to share my first 3speak video of 2023 in this community for week 48 of La Voz Cantante, an event I saw being born and edition after edition I enjoy either participating or watching my musical brothers on the platform grow.

I had to sing something by Shakira because it's a new year, and it's one of her most famous pop rock songs from the nineties. It's No Creo, one of her biggest hits from the album ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? released in 1998. It has always been very difficult to choose my favorite song from that album, but for many years this was it, only that my favorites are passing the baton through time hahaha.

No Creo is an interesting love song where you don't care about anything else as long as that love stays alive. Shakira herself took the opportunity to protest against politics and society not only in her verses, but also in the music video. In 1999 she did a more reggae version of this same song and wow, I feel she even improved it. Truly this song is a masterpiece. I recorded my a cappella cover with my Tecno Pova II and edited the video with Shotcut and PhotoDirector.

I hope everyone likes it and I promise to be more present in this sister community where the surprises never stop, here even discs are baptized with the same members of the community; I hope someday I can be at that height...

¡Feliz año nuevo mis Puku Friends!. Especialmente para los moderadores @orimusic y @nahupuku, gente especial, rockera y colegas en el camino musical de Hive. Con mucha alegría quiero compartir mi primer video de 3speak del 2023 en esta comunidad para la semana 48 de La Voz Cantante, un evento que vi nacer y edición tras edición disfruto ya sea participando o viendo crecer a mis hermanos musicales de la plataforma.

Tenía que cantar algo de Shakira por ser un nuevo año, y es una de sus canciones pop rock más famosas de los noventa. Se trata de No Creo, uno de sus grandes éxitos del álbum ¿Dónde Están Los Ladrones? publicado en 1998. Siempre ha sido muy difícil elegir mi canción favorita de ese disco, pero por muchos años esta lo fue, solo que mis favoritas se van pasando el testigo a través del tiempo jajaja.

No Creo es una interesante canción de amor donde a uno le deja de importar lo demás mientras ese amor se mantenga vivo. La misma Shakira aprovechó la oportunidad para protestar contra la política y la sociedad no solo en sus estrofas, sino que también en el video musical. En 1999 realizó una versión más reggae de esta misma canción y wow, siento que hasta la mejoró. De verdad este tema es toda una obra Maestra.
