En torno a estas serie de publicaciones en el campo de “iniciación en Splinterlands” es importante tener en cuenta que al ingresar a este juego, también te estas abriendo las puertas a la blockchain de HIVE, es interesante como los token representativos de ambos campos, es decir, el SPS el token de gobernanza de SPLINTERLANDS y el HIVE el token de nuestra blockchain guardan ciertas similitudes, hoy nos estaremos enfocando en la relativa a los conceptos de STAKE y POWER UP.

En este orden de ideas tenemos que el STAKE y el POWERUP vienen siendo sinónimos, porque el proceso describe la conversión de un activo que se encuentra en estado líquido (y esto en el contexto cripto, entiéndase como un activo económico que puede ser transferido inmediatamente bien sea a otras cuentas o a un Exchange, para posteriormente convertirlo en moneda local), a un estado de congelamiento, donde no puede ser movido. En el caso por ejemplo del SPS esta es la forma para hacer STAKE:

In this order of ideas we have that STAKE and POWERUP are synonymous, because the process describes the conversion of an asset that is in a liquid state (and this in the crypto context, understood as an economic asset that can be immediately transferred either to other accounts or to an Exchange, to later convert it into local currency), to a frozen state, where it cannot be moved. Simplemente en la parte del juego de SPLINTERLANDS donde aparece el token de gobernanza SPS le damos al botón STAKE y allí se nos despliega la siguiente ventana, donde es importante reflexionar sobre las advertencias señaladas:

Noten que en letra de color amarillo se resalta que el proceso de “UNSTAKING”, lo que en términos prácticos podemos ver como ese proceso de descongelamiento, tomará cuatro semanas, es decir, cada semana retornará un 25% de lo que hemos congelado. Por ejemplo, si teníamos 100 SPS líquido y los colocamos todo en STAKE, y ahora queremos revertir esta decisión, cada semana se descongelarán 25 SPS, es decir, después de 4 semanas tendremos nuestros 100 SPS líquidos nuevamente. Ahora veamos la siguiente similitud con el HIVE. Desde el portal de PEAKD intentemos hacer un POWER UP:

Es interesante como desde este FRONT de HIVE señalan como sinónimo el STAKE y el POWER UP, solo que en el contexto de HIVE es mas común escuchar la expresión POWER UP, y para realizar esta acción nos vamos donde tenemos nuestro HIVE líquido, y dentro de las opciones que existen que se despliegan al seleccionar la flecha que está al lado de la opción “SEND”, está la relativa a la acción de POWER UP; ahora bien, al seleccionar esta opción surge la siguiente ventana:

Una vez se hace POWER UP, ya el HIVE se pasa a llamar HIVE POWER, y en advertencia se señala que se requieren de 13 semanas para ser convertido a HIVE a través de iniciar la acción POWER DOWN que viene siendo el equivalente a UNSTAKE; como pueden apreciar este proceso demora nueve semanas más que para el token SPS, digamos esta seria una de las primeras diferencias, así como también la relativa al cambio de nombre, es decir, el SPS siempre es llamado SPS, y le agregamos la palabra STAKE para resaltar que este está congelado. Pero en esencia, noten ustedes el sentido general de esta disertación de ideas, y es que la decisión de hacer un STAKE o POWER UP debe ser bien pensada porque no es algo que se revierte de inmediato. Otra de las semejanzas es la asociada a las delegaciones, en el caso de la blokchain de HIVE, se tiene lo siguiente:

Y es importante reflexionar en torna a la advertencia que se nos señala, en cuanto a la situación de reducir la delegación, donde debemos de esperar 5 días para tener el HIVE POWER disponible en nuestra cuenta, esto tiene una razón de ser muy importante que en la parte 02 de esta publicación estaré profundizando. Siguiendo con la tónica de las semejanzas, el SPS también se puede delegar:
