Entrenamiento a Placivel y Cumpleaños / Placivel and Birthday Training

En esta oportunidad traigo una aventura dominguera que tuvo doble propósito: por una parte, celebrar el cumpleaños de nuestra compañera Dari quien solicitó expresamente que la celebración la dejase agotada, su petición fué acatada por el grupo, luego del consenso decidimos por Placivel, una de las rutas mas exigente de nuestro estado Aragua-Venezuela. Por otro lado, estaríamos entrenando para participar el próximo 17/12/2023 en un evento de 20 kilómetros cuyo lema reza: "Caminemos juntos por la vida" auspiciado por la Fundación Opa Hans la cual apoya a pacientes oncológicos (niños) y otras obras sociales. Este paseo partirá desde la plaza de las madres en la ciudad de la Victoria-Aragua-Venezuela hasta Placivel, un lugar mágico donde se vuela en parapente.

In this opportunity I bring a Sunday adventure that had a double purpose: on the one hand, to celebrate the birthday of our partner Dari who expressly requested that the celebration left her exhausted, her request was accepted by the group, after the consensus we decided for Placivel, one of the most demanding routes of our state Aragua-Venezuela. On the other hand, we would be training to participate next 17/12/2023 in an event of 20 kilometers whose slogan says: "Walk together for life" sponsored by the Opa Hans Foundation which supports cancer patients (children) and other social works. This walk will start from the mothers' square in the city of La Victoria-Aragua-Venezuela to Placivel, a magical place where people fly in paragliding.

Salimos de nuestra ciudad Maracay a las 6 y 30 a.m para recorrer 43,8 kilómetros hasta pie de Cerro donde dejamos los carros en casa de una querida amiga, nos recibió un lindo perrito residente de la zona. Al poco tiempo empezamos a subir esta carretera que le exige al motor de los vehículos, imaginen lo que hacen las piernas de los ciclistas, 22% de inclinación aproximadamente, se necesita mucha concentración y voluntad para continuar subiendo constantemente esta carretera que regala una vista de montañas con diferentes tonalidades y el azul intenso del cielo, la brisa estaba bastante fresca a pesar de que el astro rey brillaba con esplendor.

We left our city Maracay at 6:30 a.m. to ride 43.8 kilometers to pie de Cerro where we left the cars at a dear friend's house, we were greeted by a cute little dog resident of the area. Soon after we began to climb this road that requires the engine of the vehicles, imagine what the legs of cyclists do, 22% inclination approximately, it takes a lot of concentration and will to continue climbing constantly this road that gives a view of mountains with different shades and the intense blue of the sky, the breeze was quite cool even though the sun was shining with splendor.

En el vídeo podrán ver la secuencia de este entrenamiento, el cual ya es la tercera vez que lo hacemos y en esta oportunidad fué mas fluido, llegamos a Placivel para cantar el cumpleaños feliz a Dari con unas fresas con crema. Estábamos contentos porque ya había pasado lo difícil y ahora nos tocaba disfrutar de los premios: la bajada y la parrillada en una casa con piscina en el sector de los Linderos. Compartimos un rato en Placivel y arrancamos para dejar que la adrenalina hiciera su trabajo en cada uno de nuestros cuerpos, es indescriptible la sensación que sentimos ante la velocidad que alcanzamos mientras descendemos, todos los sentidos en alerta máxima al igual que la cautela.

In the video you can see the sequence of this training, which is already the third time we do it and this time it was more fluid, we arrived at Placivel to sing happy birthday to Dari with some strawberries and cream. We were happy because we had already passed the difficult part and now we had to enjoy the prizes: the descent and the barbecue in a house with pool in the Linderos sector. We shared a while in Placivel and we started to let the adrenaline do its work in each of our bodies, it is indescribable the feeling we felt at the speed we reached while descending, all senses on high alert as well as caution.

Llegamos al lugar donde dejamos los vehículos, compartimos un ratito y continuamos hacia Linderos, atravesamos dos ríos para llegar a la casa donde hicimos la parrilla, luego partimos dos tortas que estaban exquisitas. Fué una velada muy amena, entre cuentos, anécdotas y chistes pasamos la tarde celebrando la vida y salud de Dari. Aproximadamente a las 5 p.m emprendimos el regreso, atravesamos nuevamente los dos ríos para llegar a la ciudad de la Victoria, al tomar la autopista camino a casa un bello atardecer nos hizo compañía ¿que mas podemos pedir?.

We arrived at the place where we left the vehicles, we shared a little while and continued towards Linderos, we crossed two rivers to get to the house where we made the barbecue, then we broke two cakes that were exquisite. It was a very pleasant evening, between stories, anecdotes and jokes we spent the afternoon celebrating Dari's life and health. Approximately at 5 p.m. we started our return, we crossed the two rivers again to get to the city of La Victoria, when we took the highway on our way home a beautiful sunset kept us company, what more could we ask for?
