A fraternal embrace, Hive open Mic community! I’m happy to meet you all again, especially in week 177, in which we will deal with the theme of "Praise", an act of love and recognition towards God, our creator and giver of all gifts.
Today I give you a song entitled Mi Pastor (My Shepherd), interpreted by the Dominican singer-songwriter Kairy Marquez. I wrote its lyrics from memory because I didn’t get a source on any website, probably because this song is not exactly one of the best known of the artist, although for me it is one of the most beautiful.
This song is somehow inspired by Psalm 23 "The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing". A powerful affirmation that can only come from faith and trust in God, who leads us and protects us on the path of life. I think that recognizing God as our guide and guardian is a way to praise and honor Him.

¡Un abrazo fraterno, comunidad de Hive open Mic! Me contenta encontrarme otra vez con ustedes, especialmente en la semana 177, en la que trataremos la temática de la “Alabanza”, un acto de amor y reconocimiento hacia Dios, nuestro creador y dador de todos los dones.
Hoy les regalo una canción que lleva por título Mi Pastor, interpretada por la cantautora Dominicana Kairy Marquez. Su letra la escribí de memoria pues no conseguí una fuente en ningún sitio web, probablemente porque esta canción no es precisamente de las más conocidas de la artista, aunque para mí es una de las más hermosas.
Esta canción está de algún modo inspirada en el salmo 23 "El Señor es mi Pastor, nada me falta". Una poderosa afirmación que puede venir solo de la fe y la confianza en Dios, quien nos conduce y nos ampara en el camino de la vida. Pienso que reconocer a Dios como nuestro guía y protector es una forma de alabarlo y honrarlo.
