En la coestelar, la victoria nos iba a indicar el próximo retador al título de las 155 libras y en la pelea final de la noche, surgía el rumor de un posible retiro, además, la posibilidad de tener un cuarto campeonato para México. Había mucho por definir y nos esperábamos grandes combates.
