El sábado 17 de junio, la UFC nos regaló un Fight Night, la cual tenía 2 peleas interesantes. Batalla estelar entre Jared Cannonier vs. Marvin Vettori. Ambos luchadores pertenecientes del top 5 de las 185 libras, buscando nuevamente otra oportunidad titular. También, tendríamos la batalla coestelar, Arman Tsarukyan vs. Joaquim Silva, combate que no ofrecía mucho por la diferencia de calidad, aunque, siempre es un placer observar el arsenal ofensivo que despliega Arman Tsarukyan, hombre que tiene potencial para llegar a ser campeón del UFC.

Las expectativas estaban un poco bajas, pero terminé sorprendido, Arman Tsarukyan, casi termina noqueado en el segundo asalto, realmente sobrevivió a duras penas y gracias a su gran capacidad física, obteniendo un derribo que lo ayudo a recuperar la conciencia. Joaquim Silva, a fight that did not offer much because of the difference in quality, although it is always a pleasure to watch the offensive arsenal that Arman Tsarukyan displays, a man who has the potential to become UFC champion.

Expectations were a little low, but I ended up surprised, Arman Tsarukyan, almost ended up knocked out in the second round, he really survived barely and thanks to his great physical ability, getting a knockdown that helped him regain consciousness. Jared Cannonier in the stellar fight, left everyone with their mouths open, getting a new record in the middleweight division. He landed 241 significant punches, practically overwhelming Marvin Vettori, who was destined to receive punishment and did not propose much in the fight.

Con la victoria, Jared Canonnier vuelve a estar a un paso de obtener otra oportunidad directa hacia el título, Marvin Vettori, no tenía caso alguno, porque ya perdió 2 veces contra el actual campeón. La performance de Cannonier, ha sido, sin duda alguna, la mejor de toda su carrera, tiene 39 años de edad, pero demostró un excelente cardio, muchas combinaciones en su juego, alternando el striking con el suelo y conectando enormes golpes de poder. ¡Brillante! Por parte de Vettori, sencillamente decepcionante, nunca ofreció resistencia y se resignó a aguantar todo el castigo sin ofrecer respuesta.

Arman Tsarukyan, luego de terminar su combate, estuvo pidiendo al campeón, Islam Makhachev, lo cual no va a suceder, aún debe obtener una victoria contra algún top 5 y el rival que desea es Michael Chandler. Me gustaría ver ese combate, aunque no creo que sea posible, Michael Chandler, sigue esperando por Conor McGregor, combate que al parecer tendría fecha a finales de año. Pero, si o si, Tsarukyan tiene que pelear contra algún top 10 de las 155 libras, ha llegado el momento de impulsar su prometedora carrera.
