Afritunes week #97,Elo ( LET'S GO) BY TOPE ALABI

Hello again afritunes community! I'm back this week brimming with excitement to share another African-inspired tune. Presenting songs that celebrate my culture and heritage is something I always look forward to.

Last week was such an uplifting experience, and I'm honored to have the opportunity again to showcase my musical gifts. The support and encouragement this community provides means the world to me as an emerging artist.

For this performance, I'll be singing a lively gospel song called "Elo" which translates to "Let's Go" in Yoruba. The song extols listeners to go out into the world spreading the good news of Christ, in line with His Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.

The upbeat melodies and rhythms really move the spirit, even for those who may not understand the Yoruba lyrics. Music is truly a universal language that transcends our differences.

This message to actively share one's faith holds special significance for me right now. Lately, I've been convicted to not keep the blessings of God to myself but offer them freely to anyone longing for hope or light.

We each have a unique role to play in extending love beyond our immediate circles. Some are called to preach on platforms, some to serve silently behind the scenes. Every act of compassion counts.

My hope is this joyful tune will inspire and encourage listeners in whatever way they feel led to reach out. We all have opportunities each day to bless others simply by being present and sharing our gifts.

If this song motivates even one person to call a lonely relative, spend time volunteering, or donate to someone in need, I will feel humbled and grateful. Little steps of faith can ripple out in powerful ways. We are alive to give life to others!

¡Hola de nuevo comunidad afritunes! Regresé esta semana lleno de emoción para compartir otra melodía de inspiración africana. Presentar canciones que celebren mi cultura y mi herencia es algo que siempre espero con ansias. La semana pasada fue una experiencia muy edificante y es un honor para mí tener la oportunidad nuevamente de mostrar mis dotes musicales. El apoyo y el aliento que brinda esta comunidad significa mucho para mí como artista emergente. Para esta actuación, cantaré una animada canción gospel llamada "Elo", que se traduce como "Let's Go" en yoruba. La canción ensalza a los oyentes a salir al mundo difundiendo las buenas nuevas de Cristo, en línea con Su Gran Comisión de hacer discípulos de todas las naciones. Las alegres melodías y ritmos realmente conmueven el espíritu, incluso para aquellos que no entienden las letras yoruba. La música es verdaderamente un lenguaje universal que trasciende nuestras diferencias. Este mensaje de compartir activamente la propia fe tiene un significado especial para mí en este momento. Últimamente me he sentido convencido de no guardarme las bendiciones de Dios para mí, sino de ofrecerlas gratuitamente a cualquiera que anhele esperanza o luz. Cada uno de nosotros tiene un papel único que desempeñar para extender el amor más allá de nuestros círculos inmediatos. Algunos son llamados a predicar en plataformas, otros a servir en silencio detrás de escena. Cada acto de compasión cuenta. Mi esperanza es que esta alegre melodía inspire y anime a los oyentes en cualquier forma en que se sientan impulsados a acercarse. Todos tenemos oportunidades cada día de bendecir a otros simplemente estando presentes y compartiendo nuestros dones. Si esta canción motiva incluso a una persona a llamar a un pariente solitario, dedicar tiempo como voluntario o donar a alguien que lo necesita, me sentiré honrado y agradecido. Pequeños pasos de fe pueden tener efectos poderosos. ¡Estamos vivos para dar vida a los demás!
